The End

I smile as Toothless and Gold-Heart land. The dragons, including Cloudjumper (who appears very proud of his friends), bows down to Gold-Heart. Gold-Heart bows down to Toothless but Toothless bows down to me.

"You're part Bewilderbeast. That's why." Hiccup places a hand on my shoulder.

"So, I'm the new Alpha?" I ask. Hiccup nods and I look at Toothless and my dragons. I let out a very loud roar of victory and the dragons follow. I cover my mouth with my hands. "I never knew that I could do that." Everyone laughs.

"Your powers have been revealed so your Bewilderbeast side is showing more and more." Mum hugs me. Toothless, Smaug, Saphira, Veno and Gold-Heart face me and Hiccup.

"You never cease to amaze me, bud." Hiccup smiles at Toothless.

"I knew you would impress me." I hug my dragons tightly.

"Thank you," Hiccup and I tell our dragons. Toothless, Venom and Smaug lick us and everyone laughs.

"Boys!" I scream as I fall to the floor

"Toothless! You know that doesn't wash out." Hiccup stands up then he helps me. Goldie and Saphie stand in front of me. I kiss their noses. Hiccup and I two wrap an arm around each other and we watch the dragons come back to their riders.

"I knew you'd come back. Love you, too." The Vikings shout to their dragons. Gothi's Terrible Terrors cover her. I laugh.

"Stormfly!" Astrid and Stormfly hug.

"Oh, give me a cuddle, Grumpy!" Gobber opens his arms but Grump lands on top of him. Hiccup and I laugh at them.

"Who's my little princess?" Fishlegs grins from ear to ear. Ruffnut holds her arms out to Fishlegs and Snotlout, but they run past her.

"Don't you ever leave again, Hookfang!" Snotlout hugs Hookfang.

"Oh, you are. Yes, you are. I missed you so much!" Fishlegs hugs Meatlug. Barf appears next to Ruffnut.

"Oh, Barf!" She hugs him. "Not you." She pushes Belch away and Tuffnut hugs him. Skullcrusher nudges me.

"Skullcrusher!" I hug him tightly. "I am so happy to see you, boy!" Hiccup strokes him.

"That was some pretty fine dragon wrangling back there. You two would make a good trapper." Eret tells us. Skullcrusher nudges him.

"Y'know, Skullcrusher's going to need someone to look after him now," Hiccup says.

"We want you to look after him." I smile and I release Skullcrusher from my grip.

"Me? " Eret asks. We shrug and nod at Skullcrusher. "I'd be honored."

Mum holds our hands. "Your father...he'd be every bit as proud as I am."

"Thank you," Hiccup and I tell her.

"I'm really glad you're here, Mom," Hiccup says.

"I'm really glad you're in my adopted life." I smile at her.

"And here I'll stay." Mum strokes Toothless and Saphira.

Astrid walks up to Hiccup. "See? I told you it was in here." She opens Hiccup's gliding suit fin.

"Ha, ha. Still doing that one? That's hilarious. Come here, you." Hiccup kisses Astrid.

"Ooh." Gobber covers a boy's eyes.

Tuffnut walks up to me. "Uh, I'm not here because of, um....you know because Astrid went up to Hiccup...I just, uh-"

I place a finger over his mouth before putting my hands on his shoulders. "I love you, Tuffnut Thorston."

Tuffnut smiles and he wraps his arms around my waist. "I love you too, Meribeth Haddock." And we kiss. We pull apart and we see our children.

"Mummy! Daddy!" Payden runs over to us.

"We're here!" Ainslie is a bit slower than her brother. Tuffnut and I kneel down and hug our children.

"My babies!" I leave little kisses all over their faces.

"Hey, buddies!" Tuffnut hugs them tightly. He's the hugger and I'm the kisser. I pick up Ainslie as I stand up. Tuffnut picks up Payden. Ruffnut stands next to Tuffnut. Payden and Ainslie wave at her. Ruffnut smiles and pinches their cheeks.

The kids both look at Hiccup. "Hi, Uncle Hiccup." My brother ruffles their hair.

"Children," I gesture to Mum. "Meet your new grandma." Mum waves at them and they shyly wave back. Gothi taps Hiccup's shoulder and gestures for him to kneel. He looks at me and I nod. Hiccup kneels in front of Gothi. She uses coal to draw the Chief symbol on Hiccup's forehead.

"The Chief has come home!" Gobber cheers.

"Long live Chief Hiccup! Long live the Chief! Long live the Chief! Long live the Chief! Long live the Chief!" The Vikings cheer and the dragons fire into the sky. Gothi gestures for me to sit so I do, being confused. Ruffnut takes Ainslie away from me. Gothi draws a symbol on my forehead with coal.

"She's marking you as the Alpha." Hiccup pulls me to my feet. "That's a dragon symbol." I smile and everyone cheers while the dragons roar.

A few days later...

I'm watching the Dragon Race while Hiccup and Toothless do some volunteering work. I rub my stomach and smile at the thought of another baby growing inside of me. My dragons nod at the race course. I hop onto Venom's back. Payden and Ainslie run over to us and give us puppy eyes. I slide off of Venom and lift my children onto his back. I sit behind them and Venom takes off. Goldie, Saphie and Smaug follow us.
A Terrible Terror tries to lift a sheep in race, but fails. Barf and Belch swoop in and snatch it. Ruffnut and Tuffnut tug-of-war for it. Ruffnut wins, throwing it to Fishlegs, but Snotlout intercepts it and blows a kiss to Ruffnut, before throwing it in the twins' basket. Eret and Skullcrusher join the flight. Tuffnut sees the kids with me, smiles and opens his arms. I throw Ainslie to him. Hiccup and Toothless are repairing a house.

You see, this...is Berk. A bit trampled and busted and covered in ice, but it's home. It's our home.

Those who attacked us are relentless and crazy. But those who stopped them? Oh, even more so!

Astrid swoops past Hiccup laughing, and Hiccup decides to join us.

We may be small in numbers, but we stand for something bigger than anything the world can pit against us.

Mum and Gobber are removing the armour from the dragons that Drago captured.

We are the voice of peace. And bit by bit, we will change this world.

Gobber pauses working to fire the black sheep. Astrid and Stormfly get ready to catch it as in the last race, but Hiccup and Toothless grab it from below her. I use my snow breath to surround them in a cloud of snow and I snatch the sheep. Tuffnut gives Ainslie back to me and I gjve him Payden.

You see, we have something they don't. Oh sure, they have armies.

Toothless and Hiccup fly under the baskets while Gold-Heart and I jump above them, throwing the black sheep into our basket.

And they have armadas...but we...we have...

All the riders land at the chief's viewing stand.
