Miku and Kaito were at a diner

Miku: Well I mean, yeah I burnt a pancake, but I didn't burn the ones I made for Rin and I! I bet they're faces were amazed by my pancakes!
Kaito: Ah, speaking of Rin and Len...you heard what happened?

Kaito: Nani? You didn't?

Kaito: Rin never told you anything? Come on Miku, last night was our moment where we bond with them as brothers and sisters

An unknown person in a black sweater with a hoodie came in and slapped Kaito and Miku on the back of the neck, making them collapse onto the ground

Lily: giggles How sad...my own lover doesn't even recognize his long lost crush...

But that's what Rin is but really she gave me her heart, and I will give mine in return to thank. And then there's you! What love did you give besides stalking me in school?! Look at what you have become Lily! You've changed into a whole different person! You're a monster!!!

Lily slowly takes the knife out...
Len: (Wait?!) ...R-Rin! looks back to her I want you to Run..run somewhere safe! Out a window! Somewhere! Just leave where she can't hurt you!
Rin: ...
Len: You have to let me handle this. Once this is over, we'll live freely and happily together..just like I told you. Now leave!
Rin: ...
Lily: That's right...if I can't have Len...if he's in the way...I'll just have to kill him..to make him mine...

Lily runs up to Len with the knife laughing like a maniac aiming for his chest, but than Rin pushed him out the way..

Lily then stabbed Rin in the chest...Len's eyes gradually widened and pushed Lily out of the way, making her bump her head and collapse, he brings his arms out as Rin slowly falls onto his arms....
Len: holds Rin into my arms Rin..Rin..speak Please!!!
Rin: ... smiles It's okay Len..
Len: cries why did you intervene...I'm the one who should've taken the hit! I was suppose to protect you!!
Rin: Like I said Len...I'm willing to sacrifice myself...just for you puts hand on his cheek  I want you to live a life...h-happy...even when I'm not here...
Len: But!
Rin: S-Smile for me Len... tears run down cheek
Len: No..Rin! I can't smile! I CAN'T SMILE IF YOU'RE NOT HERE WITH ME!!! I can't! You mean the world to me Rin! How can I smile while you laying in the grasp of my arms slowly dying?!
Rin: ...It'll be okay Len...slowly closes eyes with tears running down cheek still smiling I..love...you...
Len: .... eyes widen, gets out phone quickly Excuse me! This is Kagamine Len, I'm in a neighborhood called Marina Brine Street with a girl that needs help, it's urgent! She was stabbed in the chest! Please come right away!
"Okay, we'll be there as soon as possible!"
Len: hangs up Don't die on me Rin...let's not destroy this future we wanted together!!!  holds Rin's hand tightly with tears pouring down You can't die...you can't...
Kaito: gets up...Rin..
Miku: Rin-chan..and this was what Lily wanted...
Kaito: This is...just cruel...
Miku: She didn't deserve this.

A few minutes later an ambulance came
"We heard what happen! Where's the person that was stabbed?!"
Len: ...
"Oh my...QUICKLY! Get her to the ambulance now! Her life is at stake!"
A few man carried her onto a bed thingy and carried her out inside the ambulance
Len: wipes tears off May I come..I'm her...boyfriend.
"Of course"
Len: Okay...I'll be at the hospital guys. I'm sorry about today.
Kaito: Len...
Len: ...
Len and a few more other men got onto the ambulance and the door closes, driving away, a police officer went inside the house
''I'm the police officer...the girl...she was stabbed am I correct?''
Kaito:...Y-Yeah..
Miku: By that girl on the floor over there. points
''walks over to the girl Any detail you can inform me? Tell me what happened''
Miku: We just came in the house and suddenly, that girl appeared from somewhere. She knocked us both down from the behind and we couldn't do anything...
Kaito:...She was saying something I couldn't hear her but...It happened so fast...S-She had a knife...
Miku: .....Stabbed our friend.
Kaito: ...
''I see...takes out walkie takie This is code 107, I'm at the Marina Brine street...there appears to be a little incident that had occured...a girl was stabbed''
''Can you give details of the person who caused the incident''
''It appears to be a yellow haired girl that seems to be unconscious. I'll be bringing her over to the station shortly''
''Alright''
''puts wakie takie back inside pocket Alright, thank you for telling me what happened, my men and I will be taking her''
Miku: You're welcome officer.
door shut
Miku: I can't bear it Kaito... I'm not sure what to think or say. tears fell
Kaito hugs her and massage her back
Kaito: All we can do now is...hope...
Miku: sniffs Yeah, I know. Rin-chan will live, she will be okay. For Len's sake. Len must be so stressed out...
Kaito: nods I'm gonna call Gakupo and Luka Senpai...they need to be informed about this

Meanwhile...at the hospital
Len: Is she okay doctor?
"She'll be fine...hopefully"
Len: Thank you...(thank god, she's fine..Rin..you didn't have to..) Please do everything you can for her
"Don't worry, we're gonna be performing a little surgery for her. We'll save her, don't worry young man"
Len: Surgery? Was it that bad?
"Apparently, the wound was very deep, her heart was nearly stopped...luckily it wasn't that serious. But the wound was greatly impacted severely"
Len: (This wouldn't have happen if I were to stop that) Okay...as long she's alive. I can't bare to lose her, she's my only family
''puts hand on his shoulder  Don't worry, she'll be fine''
Len: May I see her soon? ...
"Of course...for the time being, please wait out here"
Len: Okay doctor...
The doctor went inside the room
"Operation"
It has already been an hour. And the surgery was not finished yet. Len was worried..It was just him in the waiting room, waiting and waiting
clock ticks
Len fell asleep on the chairs and started to shake and turn, having nightmares of what happened. A nurse came up to him and taps him on shoulder

"Are you alright?"
Len: oh looks up to her...I-I'm fine Miss
"smiles That girl in there..is she your sister or something?"
Len: Nani? Why would you think that? Do we look alike?
"giggles a little Relax sweetheart...she's your girlfriend isn't she?"
Len: Yeah and I'm so worried...I don't know. These nightmares won't go away...I'm scared...(Like a coward I was.)
"What happened to her? If I may ask?"
Len: All I can say is...she was stabbed...in the chest...
"I see...if it makes you feel any better, I had a friend who was also stabbed too...more like got shot at"
Len: Really? Was she/he okay.
"...smiles He passed away..."
Len: I'm sorry. looks down at hands
"It's alright, we could've been a family too. I had a child as well..."

"No, he's alright. At least I think so...I had to leave him. I didn't wanted to, but I had reasons to leave him. The life we were in was very difficult...We didn't had much money. If only I could see him again...I wonder what he looks like now..."
Len: How long ago did you left him?
"For just a few years...Maybe when he was 10. He was such a handsome young boy"
Len: But how could you leave a kid like that on his own?! Not much money but...He's still your child! He must be very confused! He probably doesn't know what to do with life! hands shake
"smiles He's a smart boy...I'm sure he was able to live life by himself alone..looks at him Isn't that Right...Len?"
Len sat there silently, not sure how to react
Len: ...m-om.. wait..no..You can't be! Get away from me!
"Len..."
Len: backs away in the chair...get...away from me...
"leans in, hugs him and tears dropped I am so sorry for leaving you Len...Please forgive your mother. I didn't mean to...Don't take it the wrong way, there was reasons I had to leave you. But now that we are here, I will never leave you again..."
Len: cries I don't know whether I should trust you or not...
"You can trust me Len, I'm your mother after all"
Len: I'm just so...lost...R-Rin.
"I know you are, but Len sweety"
Len's mom cupped his cheeks
"Just know that I love you dearly...everything will be okay...I love you Len"
Len: mom...hugs her and continues to cry
A green light was on
The doctor came out
Len: Doctor wipes tears off May I see her?
"Of course. She won't be able to wake up for the time being, but...she's alive"
Len: Arigatou.
The doctor leaves
Len: lets go of mother's grip and heads towards Rin's room
Lens mom was following him
Rin was laying on the hospital bed, with a few patches strap onto her arms, and a breathing tube on top of her mouth and nose, breathing a little..sleeping peacefully..there was also machines next to her beeping...
"She's a pretty girl"
Len: She's my family. Ever since you left me, She always brighten my mood, cheer me up, shes always so free-spirited....I hate to see her cry, I hate to see her like this...laying there..takes a seat, holds one of Rin's hand kisses it I know you wanted to be brave Rin, I love you for that. I thank you for saving my life. I don't know if I would be dead or not, but you saved me. I'm just so grateful that you're alive at this time. Now that Lily is gone, we can be together again. Happily ever after like you wanted. I will never leave your side. We will protect each other till we die together
Len's mom puts her on hand on his shoulder
Len: I know we're too young to speak of this, I know you won't hear this but... Marry me Rin-chan. Live together for eternity with me. Have three children. They'll all look like you...they'll be my treasure. I'll cherish them like I cherish you... yawns I love you...Wake up soon...lays head on Rin's bed
"pulls a blanket up over Len, kisses his head I love you Len...I'm happy you finally found someone to be with leaves room"
