"A-Archangel?" I repeated just to check if I heard him right.

"Yes. Due to this you're actually 3/4 angel and 1/4 human. Why else do you think the enemies are so interested in you?" Cas stated matter of factly.

"So she's like an arch-Nephilim?" Dean asked incredulously.

Cas just nodded and lifted my chin to inspect my bruises. If I can heal myself, why have I broken so many bones? Does it take conscious effort? My thoughts roamed in silence probably like the rest of the people in the room.

"How am I supposed to be able to heal myself?" I asked Cas after a few minutes of silence.

"Angels just place two fingers on one's forehead and command them to heal. You may have to focus harder." Cas answered by demonstrating on Dean who sat up in surprise. "You had begun to develop arthritis. You are welcome." Cas added. Sam snickered at Dean but shut up quickly after receiving the death glare.

"So I just.... concentrate and it should happen?" I asked. Cas nodded so I closed my eyes and rubbed my neck absent mindedly while I focused on my little bruises and inflammations. The soreness in my neck ebbed away as I moved my hand over the blue and black pigmented skin and my eyes flew open in surprise. I caught a glimpse of myself in a mirror and I saw my eyes glowing blue and a faint light shining from the back of my throat.

"What the hell?" I exclaimed as I rubbed my neck harder and ran to the mirror. I could still feel the other injuries I had received though, so I figured I had to touch a specific spot to heal it. The purple handprints that had made me feel queasy before were now gone without a trace.

"Now try your rib." Cas instructed. I placed my hand on my lower back and the pressure that had been building from the swelling went away immediately.

"Holy shit!"

"Now try healing Sam."

"Sam's fine though..."

"He has a fracture running up his left elbow that he is currently ignoring for your benefit or because he simply has a higher pain tolerance than most men." Cas explained.

"You carried me around with a broken elbow?" I asked with a scolding tone as I walked up to Sam with a hand on my hips. He just kinda shrugged as if it was no big deal and I cracked a smile. Okay. This guy is amazing. Just don't let him notice you think so.

"Let me see." I offered holding out my hand which he placed his lower arm in. I rolled back his sleeve to see a bruised and swollen elbow. I sighed and rolled my eyes at him and his god-damned pain tolerance and held my hand over his elbow focusing all of my energy on the task. I could see the glowing blue light bouncing off Sam's forearm but nothing seemed to change in his state. I bit my lip and mentally screamed at him to heal but still nothing changed. He lifted his other hand to my shoulder and gave me a gentle shake.

"Hey. Ehvs. Don't strain yourself too much. Maybe it only works on you." Sam guessed. I gave up and the blue light faded away and my knees gave out for a second. I almost caught myself but with the way my head was spinning I would have broken a lamp or myself.

"Hey now." Dean grunted as he stood up to catch me and guided me into a chair. My vision wasn't quite blurry but I was having trouble focusing on things which was just about as scary. I closed my eyes and took deep breaths with my head between my knees until my head cleared up and I felt like I could stand.

"I wouldn't do that often if I were you." Dean smiled from his crouched position in front of me. "If we have to take you to the doctor's we are fucked." I huffed a laugh at his attempt at comedy relief and he tucked my hair behind my ear like he did when he was worried.
