Before you begin I would like to offer a bit of background knowledge for those who are unaware. Todoroki Toya is said to be the oldest son of the Todoroki family and it is a common theory that he is Dabi, and that is basically what this fanfiction is going off of. So like I said in the poorly written description, I feel like this story should be taken with a grain of salt seeing how it is really only using the characters and concept from My Hero Academia and not many plot elements. And also, if you didn't notice, there was a mature contact in the description so I would just keep that in mind because I do plan on obeying to it in further chapters. So anyway, I won't keep you much longer and I hope you enjoy!

The air began to cool as the sun set on a clear fall day. The light wind rustled the leaves around Toya as he found himself staring off into nowhere. If you considered nowhere being in the path of the U.A. Academy.
He wasn't sure of an exact reason for why he had decided to stand outside of the high class hero school, he just knew he ended up here. Along with the fact that he just didn't wish to return home just yet.
Only a chain fence separated Toya and the school, he could easily jump it and go have a look around, but if he got caught he would have to go through quite a bit of trouble, and he didn't see any reason to do it in the first place. With the factor of having to face his father if he did get caught also ran through his mind.
With another chilly breeze passing through the air, Toya shoved his hands into his pockets, letting out a short sigh as he did so. He had quite a bit of homework to do, still had to pick up his little brother, along with his own training, his list seemed to go on and on.
As another soft wind passed over, Toya could feel a new presence had drifted into the air. He turned his head and he found himself gazing into the eyes of a girl.
She couldn't be any older than he was, and she looked rather surprised to see another person here. She wore a grey uniform with a white scarf wrapped around her neck. She had tinted silver hair with bright, yet sharp, red eyes to match. Just by the way she was standing she had a assertive presence around her. And when she spoke, she spoke with a gentle tone that seemed to contradict the air around her.
"I wouldn't expect to see anyone else going down this way," she said. There was a short silence before ether one of them spoke again. Toya, just found himself lost in her eyes, he kept running around through his head on how someone's eyes could look so gentle and bright and yet so confident. He could also swore he had seen her face somewhere before, it just wasn't wanting to register in his mind correctly.
Toya tore his gaze away from her's before he spoke, "Just wondered in, I guess."
"Interesting place to just wonder into," she said this half heartedly to herself, with a sarcastic tone resonating in her voice.
"Why are you wearing a scarf?"
"Pardon?"
Toya's curious mind moved too quickly before he knew what exactly what was coming out of his mouth. Even so, he turned to face the girl, now curious what her answer will be.
"Well it is rather cool," she said, with a slight hesitation in her voice. There was a look on her that suggested that Toya did not look satisfied with her answer.
"And I tend to be a rather cold natured." Toya saw a little glint appear in her red eyes.
"Now I get to ask you a question."
Toya was puzzled, "Why?"
"You asked me a question, it's only fare." There seemed to be a silent agreement between them.
"You wouldn't happen to go there, do you?" She gestured towards the U. A. Academy.
Toya found himself give a little chuckle, "No," he said, "no way I would go there."
"Why would-"
"I thought it was my turn to ask a question now?" Toya cut her off, and she looked slightly annoyed for a moment before she silently rested her case.
He thought for a moment before he asked his question. "Do you go there?" He said, referring to the high class school in the distance.
She turned her silver head towards the school, "Possibly," she said in a sly tone, her red eyes were sparkling to a certain degree.
There was almost no hesitation for her next question. "Why would you not want to go to U. A.? You sounded rather soured by it."
It took Toya only a moment to get his thoughts in order. "People who go there want to become great heroes," He said, "and that's not what I want to be." He watched her, as she continued to stare at the school. She looked to be in deep thought, picking out her next question carefully , or so it seemed.
After a brief moment she turned to him, "How old are you?" There was a ring in her voice that Toya couldn't quite figure out what it meant. She took a step closer to him as she spoke.
"18," he replied, a smile appeared across her rosy lips. "Well," she said, taking a step closer towards him, they were now only a little bit apart. She dug into her bag and pulled out a slip of paper and a pin, she quickly wrote something down on it.
"What is your name?" She said this too quickly for Toya to interrupt her again. It took him a moment to answer for he was too busy staring into her bright red eyes. "Todoroki Toya," He said.
There was a short silence that followed and an interesting look rested on her face. Toya was unsure what kind of look that was. "Interesting," she mumbled under her breath. Toya watched her fold up that slip of paper and held out the other hand. "Well it's nice to meet you, Todoroki." Toya found it interesting that she didn't use any type of suffix.
Toya was a bit cautious at first but eventually grabbed her hand to shake it. She shook his hand for only a short second before she turned his hand over and placed the folded piece of paper in it.
"And you can try calling me sometimes too," she said, and she started to continue on her path. Toya was slightly stunned by this, but quickly spun around on his heels.
"I still owe you another question," he said in a bit of a hurry.
The girl stopped and whipped around to face him and flashed him a smile and spoke as if she had read his mind. "Inoue Amaryllis."
