It was the weekend and Toya found himself just aimlessly wondering around. Well, his feet knew exactly where they were going but he didn't really want to admit it to himself just yet.

His mind was mostly at ease, for his father was away and he luckily didn't have to worry about his siblings because of this. However, one thing did stick to his mind, and it kept on bothering him. It was Amaryllis. Toya had no idea why she was clinging to his brain, he had only known her for a few days. But he couldn't get her pretty features and red eyes out of his head.

Toya had been tempted to call or text her but he could never really bring himself to. As he made his way down the street in deep thought, Toya found his surroundings somewhat familiar. He realized that the little hidden park that Amaryllis has shown him was nearby. He found himself stopping in his tracks, had he intended on coming here or was it just by chance? He wouldn't be surprised if his feet had brought him here without him really knowing.

He decided to see if she would be sitting in the hidden park. Toya located the alleyway and jumped the fence. And sure enough, there she was.

Amaryllis was just barley visible while she laid in the hammock. Her silver hair peaked out from the fabric, she had one of her legs hanging out and she held up a book. That was about all you could see of her. Toya was pretty sure she wasn't aware of him yet.

Toya paced forward and there was a slight movement from the hammock. Amaryllis lifted her head and peered over at Toya. "What a surprise," she said, she then dropped back down into the hammock. Toya couldn't help but find this gesture amusing.

Toya strolled over and stood a good distance from the silver haired girl and peered into the hammock. She was dressed rather warmly with a red pullover and jeans with the scarf she seems to always wear.

"Are you cold?" Toya asked.

"I am always cold." Amaryllis replied, keeping her eyes on the book. "We think it has something to do with my quirk."

"What is it exactly? Summoning weapons?" Amaryllis held out her hand and faint blue glowing ribbons appeared from her palm. They wrapped around each other till they formed a small dagger. There wasn't a single scratch or even a sign of worn on the blade, on the handle was edged light blue patterns, just the the ribbons from before, and strange writing carved into the blade.

"We call it Knight, with a k. Like a medieval knight." She twirled the small blade around in her fingers, she also set down her book and turned her head to a-dress Toya. "I can summon different kinds of blades and some shields, and even a bit of armor."

"Cool," Toya mumbled under his breath. He found himself reaching for the blade, and saw Amaryllis opening her hand, silently giving him permission to touch the blade. It was rather light, but perfectly balanced. He held the blade upwards to admire it in the light. Toya had never heard of a quirk like this.

"What is your preferred weapon?" Toya asked, still studying the blade.

"The spear, mostly," she replied, Toya could see Amaryllis watching him closely from the corner of his eye. He took this as a sign and set the blade back down into her hand. "It's what I mostly trained with growing up and I can use it as a shield." The dagger dissolved back into the blue ribbons before disappearing.

Toya felt a bit awkward hovering over Amaryllis so he gazed around for a bit before he planted himself down next to one of the trees that held up her hammock.

A bit of time passed and Toya just found himself staring off into nothing. He could see why she noted this place as a stress reliever. It was very relaxing.

"Hey," Amaryllis called softly. Toya saw a hand flop out from behind the curtain of the hammock. "Can I see your hand?" She spoke softly. He didn't think too long about it and placed his hand into her's. Toya hadn't noticed it before but her hand was rather cold.

A short moment passed between them.

"I was right,"Amaryllis said. "Your hand is very warm." She shifted her hand around ever so slightly, like she was wanting more but was afraid to ask for it. Toya watched her fiddle around and took it as a simple gesture. He intertwined his fingers with her's and he felt her hand relax.

It was like before. Where Toya had no idea how long they sat there in silence, with her hand resting against his. They could have sat there for 20 seconds, minutes, hours. He just knew that he didn't really want it to end. Just the simple silence and her smooth skin against his.

"Do you curse?" Amaryllis asked, dragging Toya away from his thoughts. He was glad that she couldn't see him, he was sure he had a dumb look on his face from her sudden, and strange, question.

"You sure do like to ask questions," Toya mumbled.

"I am a curious person."

There was a short pause.

"So?"

"What?"

"The answer to my question?"

"Oh." There was a soft giggle from Amaryllis.

"Do you mean like shit and stuff?" He said.

"I guess that answers my question," she replied with a amused tone ringing through her words.

"Around certain people, I guess," Toya said, he was still watching there connected hands. "You?"

"Same way," she said, he couldn't help but wonder what expression was reflecting off her face, and if it would give him any idea of what she was thinking. "My father would probably kill me if I said fuck in front of him."

Toya felt a smile cross his lips. "My sister would probably do the same thing if I said anything bad in front of out little brother."

Amaryllis was quick with a reply, "So you have 2 other siblings?"

"3," Toya said, "I'm the oldest of 4."

"Oh dear."

"It's about what you expect, to a certain extent." Toya felt himself smile.

Toya felt Amaryllis start to shift her hand around ever so slightly. He was unsure if she was wanting to let go, or maybe her hand was getting stiff, or something. But Toya knew that he didn't want to let go just yet. He tightened his grip on her cool hand, her hand relaxed once again after a stiff minute.

They again sat in silence, but it was a relaxing one. No tension or awkward atmosphere. Just peaceful silence. Toya wouldn't be surprised if he actually fell asleep. But alas the quite air was filled with another question from Amaryllis.

"Are you okay with me calling you Toya?" She asked. "Or Toya-kun." There was a short break in between her phrases, "or Todoroki?" She said the last one with uncertainty.

Toya found himself thinking about this for a moment. "I don't really have a preference," he said with his attention to their connected hands.

"Toya it is then," she said with a ring resonating in her tone. A grin screeched across Toya's face, he could help but find her speech pattern somewhat amusing.

"I suppose I can call you Amaryllis then?"

The hammock shifted around and Toya saw her peeked her head out to gaze into his eyes. There was a somewhat mischievous smile stretched across her lips. "That sounds good."
