Virgil heard the man return from the bathroom after a solid five minutes. He remained laying still in an attempt to put off interacting with him a little longer. He wasn't sure why, but he was absolutely terrified of him; he still had no idea what came over him when his fingers brushed his forehead. It had sent him into a panic, one of the worst he'd ever felt.

He drew in on himself at the thought, some of the remaining effects of it kicking in as he whimpered slightly. There were footsteps that neared him and suddenly something soft by his side. He reached out, pulling it close as he realized it was teddy bear. Clutching it close made him calm down at little.

"There... I hope that's a little better..." the man murmured, not touching him. Virgil's eyes fluttered open, feeling as though he couldn't keep this act up much longer. His breathing stopped as his eyes landed on him. It was Roman; at least he thought it was, but it wasn't. He just looked like Roman, being a part of him. His typical white prince suit was jet black, the red sash was deeper, resembling blood, and the gold accents in his suit were silver. The anxious Side shot straight up upon meeting his gaze, finding them to be black but with red irises. Simply meeting his eyes made him on edge as he scrambled backwards. The dark prince sighed heavily as his reaction. "Yeah, I figured that would happen..."

"W-Who are you? Why do you look like Roman?! What am I doing here?!" he blurted, hugging the bear closer as he shrunk away from him.

The dark prince looked saddened by his reaction, sighing again. "My name's Namor," he said, sitting down on the bed. "I was hoping we'd meet under more pleasant circumstances. To answer your question about why I look like Roman, it's because I'm his shadow, so to speak..."

"Sh-Shadow?" Virgil questioned.

"I'm a separate entity, I'm not Roman," he said, speaking slowly to make a point. "But I'm Creativity, just the dark part of it. Roman provides Thomas with dreams and fantasies while I provide him with nightmare and horrors."

Namor didn't sound proud of it, glaring down at his hands. Realization dawned on the anxious Side, making him gasp. "You're... you're the reason I make him anxious at night or in the dark," he murmured to himself. The dark prince nodded, not looking at him. There was a moment of silence between them before he spoke again. "But what am I doing here? You kidnapped me?"

"No, no, that was never the intention," he corrected quickly, looking at him now. Virgil almost flinched as their eyes met. "I wanted to introduce myself. My... advisor, I guess you could call him, he wasn't supposed to hurt you. He was supposed to escort you here. I just wanted to meet you, Virgil."

The use of his name made him flinch slightly, becoming acutely aware that this man knew him. "How do you..."

"I see you here in the Imagination often," Namor said, smiling a little bit in an attempt to be less threatening. "I wanted to meet you."

The anxious Side looked at him warily, every instinct telling him not to trust him. At least I know he's telling the truth about my kidnapping not being a plan, he thought. It's the same thing he said outside the door before when he was talking to someone, his advisor I think I said?

"I know you have no reason to trust me, and that anxiety is part of who you are, but dinner is almost ready if you're hungry," he said, pulling him from his thoughts. He stood and headed for the door, flashing him a small smile as he opened it. "Someone will lead you to the dining room if you decide to join me, but don't feel pressured to. It's perfectly okay if you'd rather remain here."

Then he was gone, leaving Virgil to clutch the teddy bear he'd been given close to his chest. He was confused more than he was scared. There was something about Namor that made him want to learn more about him.
