Namor let go of the anxious Side as his eyes slipped closed. He stood absolutely still as the purple light hovered in the air, having escaped from the jar. It circled him and then flew into his chest, making him gasp awake.

"What happened!? Where am I?!" he yelled, breathing heavily as panic washed over him. His memory was spotty, he couldn't remember what had happened to him in the past couple days. When his eyes landed on the dark prince, there was no recognition in his eyes. "Who are you?!"

He moved forward quickly, attempting to calm him down as he smiled at him. "It's me, Namor," he said, feeling his heart racing in his chest. The anxious Side was looking at him like he had no idea who he was.

"You... you kidnapped me!" he gasped, only recalling being knocked out and waking up in the unfamiliar palace.

Virgil looked towards Roman, feeling relieved to see him. If the creative Side was there, he'd be fine. Some more of his memory returned, but out of order. He remembered being strapped to a chair, someone holding a jar that made him feel weird. His gaze traveled down to the shattered class beneath his feet. "It was you who used this weird jar on me too!"

"Virgil, I would never-"

Namor reacted out to touch his hand, but as he did so, the anxious Side cried out. He jerked away and gasped out as panic overwhelmed his body. Tears started to stream down his cheeks as he trembled and backed away, looking small and scared. Something in the dark prince's chest shattered as he pulled his hand back.

Roman moved forward to help the panicking emo, knowing exactly what had happened. He wrapped his arms around him and looked toward him. "Namor-"

"S-See that he's okay please," he said, voice wavering as tears silently dripped down his cheeks.

Without another word, he left in a hurry, the prince's chest constricting as he watched him go. He wanted to help him, but Virgil was shaking in his arms and still having the extreme panic attack that touch Namor caused when you were afraid of him. "Shh, I've got you," he murmured into his ear. "Try and breathe for me Virge, can you do that? In for four seconds... hold it for seven seconds, and let it out for eight... You can do this."

After a few moments of holding him and murmuring encouragements into his ear, he began to calm down. The anxious Side was hugging him tightly with his eyes closed. When he blinked them open, they focused on the prince in confusion. As he calmed down, his memories had returned and he was too concentrated on them to think about what just happened.

"R-Roman?" he mumbled quietly, earning a nod from the creative Side. "What... when did you get here? Where's Namor? Where's... where did Deceit go?"

"Virgil, I-" the prince started, feeling confused himself. "What are you talking about? You were just talking about not knowing who Namor was. When he touched you, you panicked like you were afraid of him."

Anxiety's heart dropped. His eyes widened as he hurried to his feet. "What?!" he gasped. "Oh god, oh god, what did I say to him?! Oh no, I've messed it up! He- He tried so hard to get me to trust him! I- I did! He was so happy when I held his hand, Roman. He was so happy, he's got to be absolutely shattered if I was scared of him again! It... it had to be the jar's side affects, it made my memory all fuzzy for a few minutes, but I do remember now. He's done nothing bad to me, Roman. He understands me, I understand him! Oh god, he's probably heartbroken, I have to find him!"

The creative Side blinked in shock at his words. "You... you sound like you're..." he said tentatively as he headed toward the door. "Like you're in love with him..."

He froze in his tracks. "In love with him...?" he whispered to himself.

"I thought..." Roman continued, finding it hard to swallow as the anxious Side looked at him with wide, confused eyes. "I thought you... I thought you were in love with me. You... you acted like you returned my feelings."

Virgil was staring at him, feeling confused about every possible thing. "I do return your feelings," he breathed, looking down at the ground. The admission made the prince's heart jump as he gasped slightly. "I think I'm in love with both of you... but that doesn't matter right now. Right now I have to find Namor, before he does something stupid because of the pain he's in."

"Virge, wait," Princey said, grabbing his arm as he turned to leave again. "I want to help, he and I..."

"You two were together, weren't you?" he asked as the creative Side's voice trailed off.

The silence that followed was the answer to the question. He shook his head as he looked up at Roman. "Why'd you abandon him here? He told me you stopped visiting him, that you resented him for scaring Thomas with his nightmares."

"I was ignorant," he said, shaking his head and looking down guiltily. "You taught me to view things from a new perspective. At the time, I couldn't understand how he could hurt him, and claim to care about him, but you helped me learn from my mistakes. I want to fix things, please. I know him, he's probably really hurting right now. We need to find him."

Virgil nodded, leaning up to peck him on the cheek and grab his hand. "Come on," he murmured as the prince's breathing hitched. "We'll help him together."
