*John POV*

I watch helplessly as Sherlock passes out in my lap, drugged again.

"It was me."

William is calmly sitting by us, repeating that he did it.

"You did this to him?"

"Yes."

"Why?"

Mycroft runs into the room, panicking when he sees Sherlock.

"Mycroft..."

"Yeah?"

"Take Hamish, go back to their room."

"Who did this?"

"Go, please. Let me handle this."

He picks up Hamish, who is barely awake, and takes him out of the room.

"William."

"Yes?"

"Do you realize what you just did?"

"Yes."

"Do you know how bad this can be? Especially for him?"

"Yes."

"Then why did you do it?"

I'm struggling to stay calm, yelling at him wont help anything right now.

"Because he was going to do something worse than this."

"When did you drug him? And how?"

"His tea. I got up and made tea, like always. And he drank his when Honeycomb went to be let out."

"When?"

"Thirty minutes ago."

"How much did you use?"

"Enough."

"How much?"

"Only a few."

"How many?"

"Three."

"He is only supposed to take one William."

"I know."

"Then why did you give him three? Do you know what that can do to him?"

"Yes."

"Why did you give him three?"

"So he wouldn't wake up."

William looks calm, nothing to show he is upset in any way.

"What were you trying to accomplish?"

"I'm helping him."

"Pardon?"

"You said he has hurting himself earlier. And I didnt want him to do it again, so I helped."

"You can kill him like this William. He could die, right now, because of what you just did."

He starts crying, turning away from me.

"I...didn't mean...to hurt anyone."

I instantly regret yelling, reaching out to hug him.

"I'm sorry."

"Calm down William. Go back to bed, find Hamish and take him back with you."

"Okay."

He stands slowly, staring at Sherlock for a few minutes before he leaves. As soon as he is gone, I pick Sherlock up and put him back in bed. Someone knocks on the door a few minutes later, coming in when I tell them to.
