*Sherlock POV*

John wakes when the sunlight pokes through the curtains, shifting to burry his face against my neck.

"Morning my Hedgehog."

"Morning."

The door is open, someone else is curled up at the foot of the bed.

"Who is that?"

"Who?"

"At the end of the bed."

"Oh. The boys came in and crawled in with us this morning."

"What time?"

"Four."

"Are they okay?"

"Yes."

John kisses my neck gently, snuggling closer to me. His breath is warm against my skin, lips barely touching my neck.

"Lets go downstairs and get some breakfast, I think Mycroft and Greg are already down there."

"What time is it?"

"Just before seven."

"Is that why the house smells like the flat when we have been gone for too long?"

"Hmm?"

"Were they baking?"

"I think they still are."

We stand at the top of the stairs, listening to the soft sounds of someone at the sink.

"Should we go down or leave them alone?"

"It'll be fine. Lets see what they made."

John takes my hand, walking quietly down the stairs. We stop in the doorway to the kitchen, watching through the crack of the open door. Mycroft and Greg are sitting at the counter, talking softly. I push through the door first, a smile on my face when they jump. John follows me in, hugging me around the waist.

"Morning Mikey. Greg."

"Hello Sherlock."

"Stressed again?"

"I guess you can call it that."

I laugh, seeing a few trays of baking on the cooling rack.

"We made breakfast. And I organized these ghastly cabinets of yours."

"You did what?"

Now its Mycrofts turn to be amused, watching me try to find the tea things.

"What did you do? Why did you do this?"

"It is organized now. I'm sure John would have no trouble finding the tea things."

John walks up behind me, grabbing something off the bottom shelf.

"You moved everything!"

"I fixed everything."

I glare at him, turning to John for support.

"It is easier to find everything."

"What about my experiments?"

"We all know you havent touched one in at least a week."

"I have been busy for at least a week."

Mycroft smiles, sipping his tea when John hands it to him. I realize he is using his non dominant hand. His dominant hand is held under the counter, in Greg's hand.

"Are you two...dating?"

Greg turns to Mycroft, both of them start laighing.

"I win."

"What are you two talking about?"

"We made a bet to see how long it would take you to notice. I won."

Mycroft pulls a twenty out of his wallet, handing it to Greg.

"Actualy, I won."

John smiles, laughing with the pair.

"I said a month before Christmas."

Both Greg and Mycroft hand over a twenty, still laughing.

"I dont understand."

"Its a bet to see how long it would take you to figure out they are a thing now."

"And you won?"

"Yes."

John kisses me lightly, smiling.

"You can be so clueless sometimes."

Mycroft is grinning at me as well, pointing out the obvious things I have missed.

"Now you two need to eat something."

John and I grab some of the baking, heading into the sitting room.

"Were they really dating this whole time?"

"Yep."

"So that's why..."

"Yep."

"And you didnt tell me?"

"Nope. It was more fun this way."

I pull John across the couch towards me, laughing when he falls into my lap.

"What are you doing?"

John managed to steal part of my muffin, popping it into his mouth before rolling off of me. He accidentaly falls off he couch, sliding to the ground. I move to help him back up, stopping when he starts laughing.

"And we say I'm the clumsy one?"

"You walked into a lamp post, of course you are the clumsy one."

"What about the time you ran into the door frame, at your house?"

"You were distracting me!"

We both start laughing again, remembering everything.

"How was I distracting you?"

"I was looking back at you, in the car, and thinking about you. It got me so distracted, watching you, that I didn't realize how close to the door frame I was."

"Sure."

I pull him back onto the sofa, kissing him when he sits back on my lap.

"I love you."

He kisses me back, gently putting more weight on me so I am leaning back on the couch.

"I love you too Sherlock."
