"So what brings you here for today's session?" Crossing my legs I sat back slightly making myself comfortable. "My sister has set me up on a blind date for Thursday" I hated her for it. "You don't sound excited about it.." Well..duh! "I don't feel ready to get back into the dating thing. I prefer to be single" He chuckled and I raised my head to meet his gaze. "Something funny?" I questioned defensively. "Yes." He stood and walked towards the back of the room. "Drink?" He asked raising a glass. I shook my head and he poured himself a glass of water. "You seem to be in limbo about what you want" Raising my brow quizzically, I watched as he sat back down opposite me. "Last session you stated that you felt lonely, now that your sister has a blind date set up for you, you're happy being single" He was right. "It's my life, I have a right to change my mind, I just don't like that I don't know who she's setting me up with" My sister knew some odd men and I was not happy with the idea of her setting me up with one of them. "Are you sure that's all that you don't like?" He sipped some of his water and placed the glass on the table that filled the distance between us. "Look, you've been single for what, two years now? Don't you think it's time to let go of the past?" He was right, but I don't think I can trust again like I have before. Not after that heartbreak. "It's not that simple" It really isn't. He stood, walking over to the window opening it slightly to let the summer breeze through. "As your therapist the best I can do is make you see that only you can make yourself move on." I scoffed chuckling to myself. "And if you weren't my therapist? Say you were a friend, what advice would you have for me then?" Turning to face me, he crossed his arms and watched me before answering. "I can never be your friend." His tone was low and cold. Geez thanks(!) "If these four walls were not here right now I'd answer your question. Our session has come to an end. Don't forget to book another session with Tasha outside" He turned to face the window once more and I took that as my cue to leave. A*shole. I stood grabbing my bag and headed towards the door. "You know what, as my therapist you're really shit at helping me. Where did you even get your degree?! I should just change therapists because you seem to always have something stuck up your a*s. Bitter a*shole!" Not once did he turn to face me, coward! With that I walked out the door slamming it shut. I walked over to his secretary's desk and leaned on it. "Whats wrong?" Tasha frowned slightly and I took in how gorgeous she was. Bet he was f*cking her, a*shole! "Just..tired. Can I have a list of the other therapists in the building please Tasha?" She frowned once more. "Has something happened with you and Dr. Frost?" A smile creeped upon my face as I noticed the irony in his name. He is a cold hearted a*shole after all. "No, just asking for a friend" I smiled genuinely to her and she smiled back. "I can email them to you if you'd like. A full profile of each one and all" I nodded and she smiled before I headed for the lift. The doors opened and I walked in pressing 'P' for parking before letting out a long sigh. Just as the doors were about to shut a hand stopped them. I looked up to see him standing there before meeting my gaze. He walked in the lift and stood beside me. The doors shut and I moved to the other side of the lift. I was still pissed for a reason I couldn't justify. "Bitter a*shole?" He spoke and I resisted the urge to face him. I could feel his eyes on me. "Was I too kind with my words?" I spoke with a b*tchy tone. The lift stopped and I looked towards him. "What?" I asked looking at his hands on the emergency stop button. "If I wasn't your therapist I'd f*ck you for giving me such attitude." I gulped and felt my n*pples tighten from his words. "These four walls of the lift wont stop me from doing that, just remember" He pressed the button again and the lift moved as I stood there unable to speak. "Call Tasha and book your next session." The doors opened and he stepped out leaving me inside as though what he just said to me was normal. Dr. F*cking Frost.
