Chapter Fourteen

KAITLYN POV

Liam said he would be back tonight, but he didn't specify when. Though I assumed he would have been back by now. It was almost midnight. I called him, and the line picked up, but I didn't hear Liam. There was just a bunch of noise and music. It sounded like a club... I looked at the tracker on my phone, and it was a club. I did not just stalk Liam. I did it because I was worried.

I called Anna, "Hey, I need your help. Be ready to leave in fifteen minutes."

I was going to find him. And I was going to find out what the hell was going on.

Anna and I walked into the club together. The music was blaring and the lights were flashing. It smelled like alcohol, sweat, weed, and there was smoke everywhere.

"I've heard about this place..." Anna started. "It all sounded fun, if you weren't looking for your boyfriend who may have potentially cheated on you."

I glared at her.

"Do you remember Liam talking to anyone before he left?" Anna asked.

"Yeah," I said. "I overheard him talking to a Harry Styles. Argued a lot, but then gave in."

"Oh... I've met him. He seems like trouble. I think he tried to hit on me before he realized I was Liam's little sister."

"Right. So where do we go from here?"

"If I'm right, which I probably am because, well because its me," she laughed and fliped her hair behind her shoulder to exaggerate, "There are 'special rooms' which means that they are used for sex. You can actually put out with these strippers."

My heart dropped when she said 'special rooms'. I knew exactly what they were used for. I wasn't stupid. "So, where are they?"

"Probably in the back."

"What if we get caught? We aren't old even old enough to be in here."

"We won't get caught. The security is as drunk as the people that come here. I mean look at the guy by the door to the lounge. Does he look sober to you?" I looked where she was pointing to see a man slouched over on a stool, eyes bloodshot, and yep, a drink in his hand.

"All right. Lets just go. I wanna get this over with."

We headed to the back where we found tall wooden doors. All of them shut. We walked slowly by each of them until I came across one where I thought I heard a familiar voice. "Anna, get over here." I whispered.

She came and put her up to the door. We listened to the voices: 'do you think i'm pretty?' 'Of course I do, pumpkin.'

"That's Zayn's voice! What is that little bastard doing here?" Anna said.

"Probably with Liam," I sighed.

Anna opened the door slowly and quietly. There I saw Liam laying on a bed with a girl straddling his hips, feeling him up. I felt the tears  welling up in my eyes, but I bit them back to pull out the last bit of courage I had so that I could say, "Not the things I am thinking of?"

Liam turned, shocked to hear my voice, "Kaitlyn..."

"It looks EXACTLY what I am thinking of!"

"Kaitlyn, I..." he stuttered.

"Whats this? Is this her, Liam?" A tall boy with a mop of brown curls said walking into the room from the bathroom. "She really is beautiful." He came toward me, twirled my hair in his fingers, and brought his face close to mine. "It be shame if I were to break her."

"Get off of me, you disgusting freak," I said and shoved him out of the way.

"Oh and she's feisty! This will be fun."

"Kaitlyn, listen to me-"

"You know what, Liam. No."

"No, baby, please." he said, finally pushing the girl off of him.

"Don't 'baby, please' me. Fuck you, Liam. I don't ever want to see you again." The tears fell as I ran out, my heart shattered once again.

LIAM POV

Anna stood there staring me down as Kaitlyn ran off.

"How dare you, asshole!" she shouted. "I guess I was wrong about you. I thought I had my brother all figured out, but it looks like you don't know how to treat a girl after all. You know, you may be my brother, but I will never, ever forgive you for breaking my best friends heart." Tears began to form in her eyes. "And you," she turned to Zayn, "Was it all just a lie what you told me? The 'i like you's' and the 'we will be together'? I trusted you. I trusted both of you. I hope you rot in hell." and then she stormed off.

"No! Anna, come back! This is not what it looks like and swear I mean it." then she was gone. I tried to run after her but Harry grabbed me. "Get off! WHAT THE HELL IS WRONG WITH YOU?"

"Calm down, Liam. She's just a girl. You got three other beautiful ones right here in this room."

"She's not just a girl! She's Kaitlyn Jean Sawyer and I am in love with her!" The room fell silent and I saw a smirk subtley appear on Zayn's face. "Yes! I said it! Liam Payne is in love with a girl! And you know, I feel sorry for you, Styles. Because you are too much of a bastard to ever be able to experience love. I'm done with you and your stupid mind games. I already paid you back the money, so I don't know why you are still trying to manipulate me into doing this kind of shit. I don't know why I keep falling for it. I'm done. And Zayn, you are just lucky that I was here to know what happen, otherwise I'd kick your ass for hurting my baby sister."

I walked out, more like ran, to find Kaitlyn and Anna. But they had already gone. It was in that moment that I realized i had lost the two most important girls in my life.

KAITLYN POV

I layed with Anna on my bed and we both cried. Some of them were loud sobs, some of them were quiet tears. I had grabbed another bottle of tequila from my parents liquor cabinet. Anna and I shared it. We were silent for a while, then Anna said, "This is bullshit! This fucking sucks! Why does this shit always have to happen to the people like us, huh? What have we ever done wrong to the world?"

"Nothing. Absolutely nothing," I replied.

I drank until I passed out.
