KAITLYN POV

I was still sitting in the meadow. An hour had passed by the time I heard footsteps behind me again. But this time, there was more than one person. Liam and Anna both sat down, Liam on my right, Anna on my left.

I didn't turn to look at either one of them. I just sat picking at the flowers. Liam put his hand behind my head and stroked my hair. Anna took my hand, entangling my fingers with her's.

"How are you doing, Kay?" She asked me.

I just shrugged my shoulders. I didn't know how I felt. I was happy that I got emancipated, but I also wanted to cry.

"Kaitlyn?" Liam said.

"She pushed me," I said. I felt Liam scoot closer to me, and felt Anna squeeze my hand. "I knew she would be pissed off, but I never thought she would hurt me."

"You're mom has issues. Even I could see that," Anna said.

"I know... I just never thought that she would result in hurting me."

"You're safe now, Kaitlyn. You're with us, your're on your own. You don't have to deal with her." Liam said.

"Thank you," was all I could say. Still speechless.

"So, Liam has a little surprise for you. I'll head home and let you two be," Anna said getting up, and leaving a kiss on my cheek before she walked away.

I turned to Liam. "Another surprise? What has gotten into you, Liam?" I asked smiling.

"Nothing has," he touched my head. I winced as I felt a sharp pain. "but first, I want to get your head taken care of."

"Okay." Liam walked me to his car.

I sat in the passenger seat, my legs out the door, while Liam pulled something out from the back seat. It was a first aid kit. "Sit up, Babe." I did as he said. He wiped my head clean of any blood, then applied a disinfectant with a cottonball. I winced in pain again. I squirmed, but Liam somehow got me to stay still. After the stinging had stopped, he put on some antibiotic cream and covered the cut with a bandage.

"You went all the way back home just to get a first aid kit for me?" I asked.

"I did," he smiled.

"You are amazing, you know that?"

"I've been told," he kissed me softly. "Now buckle up. I can't wait for you to see where I'm taking you."

We drove in the direction of his house, but turned two streets before. I was so curious as to where he could have been taking me now.

We pulled up in front of a huge house. Tan colored with brown trimming, a beautiful front door with angels on the glass, and a wonderful lawn.

I stared in awe as Liam walked around and opened my door.

"Umm... Liam where are we?"

"Home." he said simply.

"Home?"

"Yes," he said opening the door as if that answered my question. The house was already filled with furniture. There were couches in the front room with matching chairs, a flat screen mounted on the wall, a coffee table in the middle, and a table with a lamp between the couch and one of the chairs.

Liam lead me into the kitchen which had already been filled with appliances and food. Another door lead to the hallway, which had one small room that had a desk with a computer and printer. The stairs were at the end of the hallway, as well as a bathroom. Following Liam up the stairs, I found three more bedrooms, all with beds and dressers, sheets on and pillows fluffed. One of the bedrooms was the master bedroom. It had a huge king sized bed with fluffy pillows and a down feather duvet. The dresser was just as elegant as the bed. The bathroom had a jet tub and a shower and was absolutely beautful. The window overlooked the street.
