Also everyone is liek "make Maven the bad guy, not the reader"

But here's a bad guy insane Maven)

You can feel Maven's fingers around your neck as he pins you to the ground. His warm, steamed fingers stain your skin red as you try to break his grasp. Your throat bobs, trying to capture the only air you can find. You can feel your heartbeat, and suddenly everything is real. The sound of your head crunching against the crispy leaves overpowers the whispers Maven lays in your ears. You can feel his shirt under your fingernails as you claw against him. It's slow motion. Thrash, but nothing works. 

His eyes are blue. A fact you never took in until you stare into them. Blue, like the ocean. Like the tip of your tongue. Like your twisted bones as they nearly break under Maven's grasp. 

His eyes may be blue, but all you see is red. 

And then it's over. 

He sits up, your legs in between his as he slumps back but keeps you trapped under his body. You cough, a Red color spilling between your lips and dripping from your nose. 

He only watches, his head tilting. He studies you, your body, the way your neck pulses as you try to breathe again.

You can feel air inside your lungs, but its bittersweet. Your gifted life from the same person who tried to take it away. 

Your pain only lasts a second, however, as your healing ability takes control. Your vision clears. And the tears in your eyes disappear. Suddenly, you can see the sunset.

"Alright," Maven's sadistic tone penetrates your head as he leans closer to you. You can feel his fingers once again crawl against your skin. You don't feel like fighting. You know it'll be pointless. "How long can you go this time?"
