Chapter 5 - Tuesday

Ethan's POV:

We were standing in front of our lockers all talking before form period. I nudge Simon slightly.

"What" he asks
"So josh" I whisper
"What about him?" He questions looking confused
"Really simon I know I'm not the smartest but come on. I'm not that dumb"
"Huh?" He says still looking confused
"You like him" I whisper
"What no I don't"
"Yes you do you haven't stopped staring at him whilst we've all been talking"
"We met him yesterday. Sure I like him as a friend and think he is very attractive but there is no way I like him properly yet"
"Hmm Okay" I reply
"So you gonna tell him you're gay"
"What no!"
"Why not He was very accepting of JJ and Vik"
"But still you know what would happen if people found out"
"Sure you'd get comments but people know not to mess with you and us"
"I guess but I can't not yet at least. I've known him one day."
"Okay" I answer

The day has been very boring but it's lunch again so that should be a bit of fun.

"So josh did you have many friends at your old school" I asked
"A few. They were called Harry, Tobi and Damian." He kind of shuddered at the last name.

"You still in contact with them?"
"Yeah I still talk to Tobi and Harry but not Damian as much"

I wanted to ask but I knew that would earn me a whack from Simon.

We changed the subject.

"Hey Guys I was wondering if you all wanted to come round mine and we can play games tonight" asked Vik
"Sure" everyone said.
"I'll give all of us a lift cause I'm the only one who can drive" Simon said
"Make sure you all check with your parents this time we don't want what happened last time to happen again" All of us but Josh laughed. We keep forgetting he's new and doesn't get some of our jokes.

All of us but Vik and Josh pulled out our phones to text our parents.

"Josh are you not going to ask your parents"
"Oh yeah" he said looking like he had been daydreaming.
