Chapter 13 - Confessions

Simon's POV:

I followed Josh, out of school, down roads and into a block of flats. He fumbled with his keys and opened the door. He was still crying as he slammed the door behind him.

I stood at the door and knocked on it.

"Josh let me in please"
"No go away. I can't. It's all happening again."
"Josh please let me in. I support you. I'm here for you."

He slowly opened the door and let me inside. I pulled him into the tightest hug I had ever gave. He hugged me back.

I pulled away and smiled at him.

"You don't hate me because I didn't tell you"
"No of course I don't. It takes a lot to come out and after hearing what that Damian said I don't blame you at all for not telling us."
"You've only known us for a week trust takes a lot. Anyway I'm kind of happy your not straight" I mumbled the last bit not thinking he would here me.
"What?" He questioned.

I shook my head at him and told him it was nothing. He stood looking at me.

"Simon" He said still looking at me.
"Yeah" I replied
"Why did you follow me"
"Because you were upset. No one should have to go through what you just did. And because I care about you" I told him
"Why do you care about me. I'm worthless. I'm a horrible person."
"No you aren't your an amazing person. I f you were a horrible person I wouldn't like you as much as I do" I said it before I could stop myself. He just looked at me with a shocked look on his face.

"You like me" He questioned
"Yeah" I replied looking at the floor waiting for him to reject me.
"You're Gay?" He asked
"Yeah" I replied.
"Why? Why would you ever like me?"
"Because you're kind, funny, sweet and very attractive. Listen it's fine if you don't like me back. I don't expect you to like me. Your way better of a person than I am."
"No I'm not. Your amazing Simon. You just ran out of school to come and find me because I was upset. You're the Kind, funny, sweet and very attractive one not me. I do like you Simon."

Once he said those words I couldn't believe it. I also couldn't believe what I did next. I kissed him. I pulled him close to me and pushed my lips against his. He kissed back almost immediately. I couldn't believe anything that just happened. I told Josh how I feel and he feels the same way back.

"Josh will you be my boyfriend?" I asked
"I would love to" He replied.
