I was finally cleared for duty, I found it stupid as I was only the victim of a tiny, but painful flesh wound. I grabbed my things and met Reid during the commute to work. I remember seeing him a lot before I joined the BAU.

Reid handed me a coffee once he spotted me in the crowds of people fighting to get past him and to their trains. I grabbed the coffee, thanking him. He guided me to our train and let me take the only available seat as he stood up.

He held the railing in front of me; using his spare hand to drink his coffee.

''How's the..'' He asked

''Oh, it's fine'' I replied

He nodded and took another sip of his coffee. I offered for him to sit in my seat, but he wouldn't let me. As we got closer, the train emptied and he could take the seat next to me. I pulled the book he had bought me out of my book, showing off my purple book mark.

''Morgan told me you have an IQ of 187?'' I quizzed

He nodded, seeming proud.

''That's how you got the job, right?''

''Yeah, you said you had family in high places?'' He replied

''I was referring to Hotch''

He smiled, nodding as he did. I tapped him on the shoulder once realising our stop was here. He offered his hand so he could pull me out of my seat. I followed him over to the doors, and he let me get off first.

''If you don't mind me asking, why did you keep Ashton's name?''

''I liked it, Agent Iero...sounds cool'' I replied, laughing

We walked into the office, with Morgan there before us. He was sitting on Reid's desk, smiling as he noticed both walking in together. I walked over with Reid to Morgan to say hi. Anderson spotted us, walking over.

''Reid, you've got a call from Lila Archer'' He called

Morgan looked directly at me, I wasn't sure why. Reid suddenly changed, stuttering as he followed Anderson over.

''As in the actress Lila Archer?'' I asked

Morgan nodded, I could tell he was debating on whether to tell me more as we both watched Reid from across the room, answer the call. I felt a bit jealous, but trying to manage my expressions so Morgan didn't pick up on it.

It was a further few minutes before Reid returned to us. Morgan quickly left upon seeing Prentiss so it was just the two of us.

''She was just checking up on me, she's in town this weekend'' Reid explained

I nodded along to everything he said.

''You should go see her'' I finally said

''It's been years'' He replied

''If you wanna get some, that's none of my business'' I joked

''Wait, get what? I don't want to get anything'' Reid stuttered

I was still laughing as JJ walked in, summoning us to the conference room so we could begin the briefing on our newest case. I sighed, trailing behind Reid, who was still hung up on the call from Lila. I tried to hide the fact that I was jealous.

We were handed case files that I flicked through, reading the names of the two known victims. They were both women in their late 30's, with long brown hair. Reid was already engrossed in the case file, he read it page by page in no time.

''Both women were stabbed to death, there's a lot of overkill here'' Prentiss pointed out

''This is personal, he probably knew his victims'' Morgan added
