"Looks like someone didn't get enough sleep last night." I looked up to see Stiles grinning wildly at me.

"I did get enough sleep if you must know." I mumbled back.

"Then what was all that? Your snoring could be heard from the next door classroom!"

I scowled at him as I got up to head to my next class.

"Oh wait. You had one of those things didn't you? I mean I was sitting next to you and I think I was the only one who actually heard you whimpering. Everyone else was in there groups..." Stiles suddenly stepped in front of me blocking my way, concern written on his face.

Me and Stiles have been friends since the 6th grade, so of course he knows about my so called Gift.

God I really hate that name. It's not anything like having a cool power or a "Gift" at all.

But Stiles loves to annoy me with the name. He says I should be happy to be given such a cool thing. But how can I be happy. Most of the things I see lead to agonizing pain. It doesn't matter that I have never actually been through it, the memories are so real and vivid, I feel every single little tinny thing.

"Hello?" I'm ripped away from my thoughts as I see Stiles  waving his hands stupidly in front of my face.

"Yeah, I had a thing in class..." I said as I let my gaze fall to the floor.

"Well, was it a bad... memory," I lifted my head to see Stiles  cringe at the word memory.

"I heard you Bren, you where a few seconds away from crying before I woke you."

"Don't call me that!" I poked at his rib. He jerked back and let out a giggle along with some weird gurgling sound.

"Hey!"

We began to walk again.

"Yeah. I was drowning. It was terrible. I felt everything Stiles." I faced him with a flat expression.

Stiles looked a bit taken back by my confession. I rarely tell him about my episodes. Especially if there as depressing as this one.

We both fell into silence. It was a bit uncomfortable but Stiles decided to speak up a few seconds later. Of course, he can't stay quit even if his life depended on it.

"Why do u call them memories? It's so irrelevant you know?"

Really, that's what he decided to speak of? "I just do Stiles. It feels right to call it that. None of us know or has ever heard about it so, what the hay," I shrugged and threw my hands up.

He looked at me with glazed eyes.

"Sorry, I- " he cut me off with a sudden hug.

"You'll be okay Bren." he kissed my forehead then gave me a closed mouth smile as he walked away.

"What the hell was that?" I whispered to myself.

I made it to Gym and entered the locker room. I went over to my locker and entered my combination. My shirt was barely half way off when I felt a cold figure poke my belly.

I let out a high pitch girly sound and retracted my stomach as I pulled my shirt back on.

"Lydia!"

"Wow, did a little Chihuahua just die in here or what?" she let out a short giggle.

Well now I know what I sounded like. I felt my cheeks flush with embarrassment as we weren't the only ones in the room.

"So, Stiles told me about your little episode in history today." She spoke to me as she brushed her silky strawberry red hair.

I didn't feel safe around here at the time, so when I took and put my shirt on I turned around, giving my back to her as I answered.

"It was nothing," I flashed a reassuring smile as I put my shorts on.

She smiled back and tilted her head to the side, pausing her brushing for a second. "You should really do your research on this thing Bren."

There's goes the nickname again.

"And get some braces."

I looked up at her and stopped tying my shoes.

"Oh really?" I flashed her my most toothy smile.

She laughed and put her brush into her locker as I finished up my left shoe.

I smiled a lot and I didn't bother thinking about my deformed teeth. My two upper canines were set up high above where they weren't suppose to be, I've seen other kids with the same issue so I just let it fly by. My lower teeth were almost perfect but had there own little issues. I've been telling my Mom to get me some braces but right now we're not doing so great with money or anything for that matter.

We headed out to the almost empty gym, people must really take there time in the locker room. Most kids wait until the very last second to come out. If you were late you had to do 50 push-ups in front of the class. I looked around the gym and saw a few guys jogging around the gym. And then it hit me. My inhaler! I forgot to take it.

"Wait up I'll be right back!" Lydia had a confused expression as I stumbled back towards the locker room.

I put a pictures of Stiles right there. So enjoy that xp
