*Stiles POV*

*Tuesday, day of the full moon*

Today was our first game. Well, more like Scott's first game. Well, more like it was our first game, but neither of us would actually be able to show up. I know Scott had said that he was playing one way or another, but I couldn't let that happen no matter how much Couch or anyone else needed him. They'll thank me later when there still alive and well.

I walked over to my locker and put my Geometry book in. Out of the corner of my eye I spotted Brenda limping towards me.

"Hey! Can't wait to see ya dudes out their on the field. It's gonna be awesome." She smiled, her brown eyes turning slightly hazel. That's something I liked about her eyes, they tend to change colors if you tuck the time to just look straight into them.

"You mean you can't wait to see Scott?"

"And you too. Even though they don't let you play I'll be cheering with you and stuff..."

I nodded at her and laughed. I'm not sure why, but she just gave me a weird look then patted my arm.

"Catch you later." She limped away to the elevator and I walked to my last class.

It's then I remembered we weren't even going to show up to the game. I just lied to Brenda, and I felt guilty. I pushed my thoughts aside and decided I would just text her about the whole situation later. She'd understand.

*After school*

I had tried to socialize with Scott, but every time I did he glared at me like I had just ran over his dog. It was one of those im-going-to-kill-you kind of looks. I don't understand why he was acting so cold but I just shook it off. Maybe it was this whole Lacrosse situation.

My plans were simple though. I would get him to my house, lower him to my basement, then handcuff him to the furnace. The windows in my basement were small so I'm pretty sure not much moonlight could enter through them. Well, at least I hoped so.

But if something went wrong everything would burn to the ground. Either Derek would kill Scott, Scott would kill me or his mother, Scott would kill innocent people, or all of the above. Maybe I needed help. But from who? Derek.

No. I can't stand that guy. I mean, he might be strong and know a lot about how to help Scott properly, but he can't be trusted. He's a complete creep and a stranger.

But you need him.

I looked over at my clock and we only had one hour before the game. If I was going to do this I had to do it now.

I knew where Derek lived so I went downstairs and grabbed my keys. The reason why I knew this is because my dad had done his case when his house burned down. I started up my beloved Jeep then headed into the woods. Once I got past them, I ended up in a house that looked like it had been untouched for centuries. I didn't even get to go in when Derek (who out of nowhere) was standing next to my car.

"Pleasant seeing you here." He said sarcastically.

"Yeah well I'm not so happy to see you here." I scoffed.

"I live here," He said to me as if I was stupid.

"Scott isn't playing is he?" He made his way to me, his face all up in mine. He looked pissed.

"No... well he tried to get out of it. But he has to play. And that's why I have a plan."

"Oh yeah? And what's your werewolf proof plan Stiles?" He spat at me.

"I will get him to my basement, and handcuff him to a pole or something sturdy." I got to the point.

He laughed at me. He was laughing at me!

"So I'm funny now!? Derek I don't hear you saying anything helpful!"

"How much time til the game."

"Uh," I looked to my wrist for my watch.

"About 20 min-" When I lifted my head up to look at Derek he was already starting my car.

How did he even get the keys out of my hands?!

"Let's get going!" I ran to my car and gave him a disapproving look.

"Who said you could even touch my car?"

He didn't even look at me, and started to speed to Scott's house. If my dad caught us I would be in so much trouble. Even the Sheriff's son can't get out of much. We made it just in time to find Scott walking to his motorbike, his face a mix of anger, fear, and surprise as he spotted us.

"Scott!" I yelled as I slipped out of my car and ran to him.

He gave me an enraged look then walked to me, his shoulders puffed up and his fist balled.

"Scott?"

"Scott!" Derek came from behind me and grabbed Scott by his collar before he could get his hands on me.

"You didn't obey me." He spat.

"I don't have to listen to you. You're no one to tell me anything!" Scott must've grown some huge balls over night because the real Scott would never yell at anyone this way. Especially someone like Derek Hale.

"You know, if you would've went to that worthless game, you would be A. Dead, or B. A mass murderer!" He threw Scott into the concrete. Just then I looked up at the sky, the sun was setting and the moon was in clear view. We only had a few hours before it shinned down fully, and revealed the monstrous side of Scott.

"Derek."

"What?" He spoke angrily and annoyed.

"Should we set my plan in motion!?"

"You really think your fabulous plan will work Stiles? Because I beg to differ."

"Well lets hear it than Derek, tell me your awesome plan which you don't have!"

"Well first I'm going to-"

Oh you've got to be kidding me.
