Brenda's POV: A WEEK LATER
My concussion was gone, but everything else, all the problems that were building up since that night, weren't. Stiles and Scott haven't left each others side, Lydia hasn't been herself lately, my mother got a new boyfriend, and me. Well, I'm still just as pointless in the world as 1D.
"Hey! Hey!" I lifted my head up as I heard someone call me from outside my window.
"Brenda!!!"
I lifted my sore body off of the bed and dragged my way to the window.
Of course it would be Stiles.
"Yes, how may I help you today?" My tone sounded annoyed.
"I... I need to see something real quick." He was out of breath and he quickly tuck out an inhaler.
"And what may that be?"
"Have you hung out with Lydia at all this week?"
"No, she's been really weak, she can barely move."
"Have you heard anything from her. About her health."
"No. Sorry."
"Okay, see you later." And like that he was gone.
*Lydia's POV*
The voices never stop! They keep telling me things that I don't understand. They keep telling me that everyone's gonna die, including me. I can't take it any longer.
I picked up my phone and dialed Stiles.
"Yellow."
"Meet me at the library. 7:00." And I hung up. Honestly, the only person I could think of that would help me was Stiles. I would've called Derek, but he's a grown man. Plus Stiles doesn't like him, Scott isn't home, and Brenda's mom needed her at home today. So that just leaves me and Stiles. The clock read 6:45. I would have to leave right now if I wanted to make it before the library closed.
I got my bag ready then walked downstairs. A little piece of paper was taped to the fridge. In purple pen I wrote down,
Be back before 10. Going to be at the library with Stiles doing research.
-LydiaMy parents weren't even home at the time. I doubted They would be any time soon. But it doesn't hurt to do so. The wind blew around my figure as I went to my car. The icy air pouring into my simple shirt and sweater.
*ring*
I looked down to my phone and saw Stiles on the screen.
"I'm on my way." I answered.
"Of course but, why am I going again?" His voice hitched up as he finished off his sentence.
"I need your help. That's all."
"Lydia Martin. Needs my help? Maybe God does exists after all!"
"I'm hanging up."
"No wait!!!"
"What!?"
"Can you at least hint me on what you need help with?..."
"I'm hearing voices, and not the good kind."
"What." His voice held a more serious tone when I told him this.
"They keep telling me everyone's going to die. I just, I can't anymore."
"Lydia, we need to call Brenda."
"What? Why-"
"Trust- TODAY!"
"Ah!" I dropped my phone as it had shocked my ear.
"-You'll never see me coming Lydia."
"Stiles?"
" I'll finish the job."
I didn't know what to do. I couldn't move or think. Just sit and leave my mouth hanging open. I had to go still.
*Stiles's POV*
"HEEEEEELP!!!"
"Hush my child, Hush now." His hand was now covering my mouth as I tried to scream.
"You'll show em soon enough."
