*Scott's POV
I made my way to her house, a sudden feeling of bloodlust overpowering my entire being. Something kept nagging me in the back of my head, telling me to think before I did something I would regret.
But I pushed it aside along with every other feeling any normal human being could have.
*Jaime's POV*
"So, she's fine?" I asked my father.
"No, she needs to get to the E.R. right now. She could have internal bleeding." He pushed himself from the coach as he mumbled things to himself.
I looked over at Brenda who was starting to panic.
"Hey it's okay we're going to get you to the-"
*ringing of a phone*
"Hell-"
"Stiles! Oh my god, Stiles!" I heard Lydia whisper yell.
"Yes... what's happening?" I put the phone on speaker so my father could hear.
"Somethings outside of my house. Someone, has- they've been staring into my home. Stiles I'm so scared. Please"
"Okay okay. Calm down. We will be right over." I nodded at my dad.
"Hurry please."
"Lydia, whatever you do, do not let yourself be visible near any entrances or windows. Hide!"
*Lydia's POV*
I hung up the phone and quickly ran upstairs to my room.
I shut my door and locked it, than put a chair in front of it. As I contemplated what to do next I heard a window shatter from downstairs. Whoever was out there, they were in now. In panic I ran to my bathroom and shut that door. I walked to the window and opened it, but the fall was at least 40ft high.
Come on Stiles, where the hell are you.
I sat on the toilet and waited. I haven't heard a sound since the window shattered down stairs. But I wasn't ready to step out of the bathroom and into my room.
Right than I heard a bang on my bedroom door. I put my hand over my mouth as I began to sob in fear.
Bang after bang. Whoever it was, they were strong, because I started to hear the wood splinter its way onto the floor in broken pieces. Than finally, the chair gave in as well.
I was going to have to jump out. I had no choice.
*Stiles POV*
I quickly parked the car in front of Lydia's lawn and ran to her house. As I arrived, I saw that already one of her front windows were broken.
"Stiles."
I looked over at Brenda who was looking at Lydia's car. That was destroyed as well. The car battery had been taken out."Dad."
"Yeah."
"You'd better call someone. Now"
I slowly walked into her home, and barely had time to look around before I heard someone let out a sharp scream of pain.
"Lydiaaa!" I sprinted up stairs and ran to her room.
"AHHHHHH!"
Her door was bashed in and there was wood everywhere. I looked over at her bathroom door, and it was the same. Whoever did this sure had anger towards doors.
"Lydi-" Nothing. No one was even in the bathroom.
"But, I heard her scream." I looked around her whole room and under her bed. All there was inside the bathroom was blood and a smashed mirror pieces on the floor. That's when I spotted the window. I ran to it and looked out, nothing.
"Stiles..."
Than I looked down. And there, Lydia's body was found.
"Stiles!"
"Wha-" I felt a slash on my chest and I looked up to the provider.
"Scott?"
He slashed me again, this time on my shoulder, than I heard a gun shot.
"No, dad dont!"
*The next day in the hospital after the fight*
*Scott's POV*
I had almost forgotten that Derek was following me ever since yesterday. He was like my shadow but grumpy and annoying. But he wanted to meet Lydia.
We walked into her room, and already Stiles was laying down on one of the couches.
"Uh, is she awake?" Stiles looked back at me, his face unreadable.
"Why?" He simply asked.
I pointed to Derek.
"Why did you bring him here? Are you crazy?!"
"Nice to see you too Stiles. I wanted to meet her. I need to see if she's okay after what Scott did."
Stiles nodded and backed away. Lydia was watching T.V. on her bed.
"Hey, Lydia." She didn't know it was me. She still has no idea I was the one who caused this. I caused her a broken leg, ribs, and scratches on every inch of her body. And a bit. I bit her.
"Hello Scott," She smiled, and looked to Derek.
"And his friend."
"This is-"
"Derek. Nice to meet you Lydia." He interrupted.
For the first time, in I think history, Derek actually gave Lydia a legit smile. I would so pay to see him smile again. It was one amazing sight. I mean, he never ever smiled when he was with me or Stiles.
He tuck his hands out of his pockets to shake Lydia's then placed them back in. His smile faded away as he looked at me. Great.
Before I could get the hell out of the hospital and have Derek follow me as if I didn't notice, Stiles jumped up from his seat and blocked my view from Derek.
"I'm staying." Stiles sat back down onto his chair and flipped through some channels.
"Good luck. Call me if anything happens." He nodded at me and gave me a pitiful smile.
And that's when I remembered.
"Get up." I said. He tuck a while to respond but once he was up I pulled him into a tight hug.
"I'm sorry Stiles. I don't know what the hell got into me. I would never do anything to hurt anyone."
"It's okay. I know the real you, and that's all I need to know." He patted my back then pulled away.
For some corny reason we both just laughed for the heck of it. After we finished I nodded towards Derek and he headed out, me following behind.
Half way through the hall I was stopped by a voice.
"Scott!" I looked back to see Stiles peering out from Lydia's room.
"Yeah?" I asked hopefully.
"Don't you ever forget who you are. Don't you ever forget you're name, Scott McCall."
I like how this ended
