After the letters Cameryn has written to me have been opened, I put all the money that she gifted me into my piggy bank. I didn't really need it for anything because I have my family, Ashton, Michael, Luke- my best friends and they all almost feel like brothers to me at this point. Calum being my biological brother, I feel almost like Cameryn made this happen, made me get adopted and being gifted with the knowledge of knowing my brother.

Sure, I'm still mad at her for not telling of him sooner, she knows I am way too smart for my age, but I am more calm than before. We all sat in silence, Ashton, Calum and I. Ashton laid across my bed while Calum sat on the floor, with me between his legs. He helped me put the money in my bank.

"Hey Alissa, I know it is way too soon, and you probably are still recovering and all, but do you want to come meet my family?"

I felt hesitant at first, now knowing who these people are, what if they are scary? What if they try to hurt me?

"I promise they won't hurt you."

Did I say that out loud?

I sighed. "Sure, I'll go." I gave him a slight smile.

He picked me up, holding me above his head as I giggled as Ashton immediately woke up. He smiled to see it was just me and Calum bonding.

"I gotta call my sister to let her know that I'll be going." He said, kissing my cheek before letting me climb on the bed with Ashton.

I cuddled up to Ashton's front, as he laid on his side.

"Are you excited, you're going to meet your new family!" He said happily.

I couldn't help but think negatively, that this meant they'll be getting rid of me. They lost interest, no wonder they've been distant from me. I know they're working, but they could take me to practice with them in the basement. I sighed, and couldn't help the tears forming in my eyes, seeing Ashton's smiley face become blurry.

I rolled over, so he couldn't see my face and let the tears free fall. I closed my eyes as tears rushed out, dropping down and staining the letters below me. How could I think like this?

I feel like the back of my head is telling me that they're just meaning Calum's family is my family too, but what if this is their plan to get rid of me? I mean, Calum is 17 after all, he doesn't even have the proper knowledge to take care of a kid, let alone a little girl.

Ashton still had his arm around me, but he didn't bother looking for the reason why I was shaking under his grasp. Shows how much he cares. I soon heard footsteps leading to my room. I just hoped it was Calum, because at this point, even though he is distant to me sometimes, I feel like he understands me better, and is the only one who could get the bad thoughts out of my head.

The door opened, and I opened my eyes to see who it was, my eyes still feeling wet. I tried not to make it too obvious that I was crying, but Calum read my face and reached over and grabbed me from Ashton's grasp. I immediately wrapped my arms around his neck, as he held me close and walked out of the room and into his own. I didn't care about anything else but being in my brother's arms.

"What's wrong love?" He asked as he sat on his bed.

He released me from his tight embrace, but left me on his lap, still having his arms around me.

"I feel like you're gonna get rid of me. When you left, Ashton asked me if I was excited to meet my new family, and I couldn't help but think you're gonna take me away, and I'll never see you again. Cal, I just got you back and I can't lose you again. You're the only family I have." I sobbed again. He let me hug him tight again, and I instantly felt his warmth.
