"Man it's too damn dark in here." Are they complaining? Honest to god?
"Gotta hold it up high out in front of ya. Ya gonna hear 'em before ya see 'em..." Daryl whispered, kinder this time round. Another few steps, one of the yelled that a walker was incoming.
And the given few tried to shush him.
This is a complete and utter field day, isn't it?
Daryl's hand rose up into the air, and shinnying my light to the lone two walkers. The yelling behind me commenced. Right before I moved to the side, right before T as I could've been taken down by their riot formation. "Can't teach an old dog new tricks huh?" I breathed, my lungs gasping for air as I completely banged them onto the wall behind me. My head, on the other hand, didn't want to watch the outcome, the number of times they were trying to beat them had me scoff, frown and almost laugh.
"I...I get why you quit..." I chuckled, looking over towards Rick now as he's the one who started the conversation. "The second day, one man got shanked. The next, rape case...You think it's bad being enclosed? That cafeteria didn't do 'em any good." I said, finally taking a look. The mustache man was the one who made the shaking noises repetitively. This was is what I'm used to. Shit turning ugly, and by the face Daryl made...I guess he saw this before too.
But the frown he sent my way sent shivers down my spine, and not the good kind. I was tense, he knows that. But turning cold while watching this is completely normal, I should've turned cold a long time ago and frankly...Addie is the one who always kept stable and level-headed.
