The fluffy comfort that felt over my body was so warming, even the oxygen felt fresh as it was cool and straight to my noise. The beeps were starting to become more than annoying and I flinched at one high pitched buzz that sounded through.

Otherwise it was silent, maybe distant commotions. I couldn't even hear my own breathing, no matter how hard or long I made it. Just didn't happen.
"...I'm just checking her vitals. Stand down Mr.Dixon." The chuckle that escaped Daryl's mouth erupted, he must've rose to his feet because when he plopped back down to his seat.
I heard where he was stationed. On the right side of me.

"When is she suppose to...Ya know...Start wakin' up?" He asked, or more like begged the question out to the poor person running the hourly check. And judging by the flipping of the paper, she was reading into the report.

"Mr.Dixon. Your wife lost a lot of blood, the recovery time is tricky. Even when she wakes up, there's a lot of things we need to consider." I felt trapped in my body. There was nothing I could do but control my breathing, and even when that was committed. I felt like if I waited too long, it happened anyway.

Soon, the loud shuffling sound rounded through the room. Causing Daryl take heed of the situation. "Hey hey hey...Listen, doc came on in. Said recovery time is gonna be awhile..." Daryl hushed the number of people, and by the eyes on me. I'd say there's a couple.

"What about the kids?" It sounded like Lori's voice more or less, and by the tone of Merle watching them being too much. They simply called my parents, or mom for that matter. To go and pick them up on the way to the hospital.
"What happened Daryl...?" Lori questioned, and by the lack of eyes on me. It felt like everyone else had left the room for a minute.

"Was just watchin' some tv downstairs...All sudden I hear a bang upstairs, go up to check...There she is, beggin' for help." He muffled his voice by pressing it against his mouth.

I know what trick, I know exactly what he's doing to himself.
"Doc says its cause a stress and anger....That's on me."

"Dary—"

"Bet she told ya too." Lori's sigh ratted me out, that's the reason I told Glenn. He could keep the secret because he's friends with Daryl.

Or so I'm assuming, but the way he handled it was even worse.
"I get I ain't perfect...But-"

"She'll forgive you." She reasoned for me, but I didn't need her to say anything. It cause a sharp pain in my abdomen to rise up in retaliation. Hate being the center of so much attention.
It gives me this unnerving anxiety.

"Why don't you go get a coffee. Call Annett....I'll stay with her." By the way he left the room, I'm guessing he's more than furious that I told Lori. But in this dream world that can't even be called reality. I told Glenn, and she heard.
