Peters POV
Ned and I were sitting in a cafe talking and the Waitress came to take our order. She had beautiful eyes and for a minute I tuned out and Ned kicked me under the table
"Hi, what would guys like today?" She asks with a smile
"I don't know what would you recommend?" Ned asks looking back at the menu
"The restaurant down the street, it's amazing" she jokes and we laugh "But all of the sandwiches are great"
"Um... I'll get the ham and cheese, you Pete?" Ned asks
"Yeah, I'll get the meatball sub," I say
"Okay, you got it," she says jotting down our order "This is gonna sound weird but do you guys go to Midtown?"
"Yeah we do"
"And you guys are Peter and Ned?" She says
"How do you know so much about us," Ned says with a puzzled look
"My friend MJ is on academic decathlon with you guys, she talks about the mysterious Peter who's always running off, and his Best friend" she laughs, "She thinks you're hiding something"
"Well that sounds like MJ," I say scratching my neck
"Well, I'll go put in your order," she says and walks off
Ned whispers "You like her"
"What! Keep your voice down I do not!" I say looking around to see if people noticed us
"Dude just admit it"
"Never"
~After they get food~
"You should go ask her out, she'll say yes," Ned says nudging me
"No way, Ned. She's way too cool for me" I say putting my head down
"Then I'll go tell her you wanna ask her out," he says and gets up walking to the counter I see them talk as he pays
Eventually, she looks over at me and waves. She writes something down on a piece of paper and hands it to Ned and he comes back
"Told ya," he says simply and hands me a piece of paper with her phone number on it
"No way!" I say and look up and she smiles at me then goes back to work
"This is awesome dude," I say and laugh
We stand up and walk out and I jump in victory

RomanceA little Peter Parker. A little Tom Holland. A whole lot of love for these boys. I do not own the characters or anything else trademarked by a larger company. I also did not draw the picture depicted on the cover.
