I always wake up before you, that's the way it's always been. I sit on the window wall and read my latest book, right now its To Kill a Mockingbird I've been meaning to start this one
Everything is quiet, we like quiet in the mornings. Just knowing that I get to wake up next to you makes me excited enough
I feel strong arms snake around my waist, and you nuzzle your head in the crook of my neck. I could feel your hot breath on my neck, I heard loud rain outside
I ran my hair through your auburn brown hair and kissed your soft cheek
"Hey Petey" I smile standing up and wrapping my arms around him
"Hey babe" he smiles down at me "I don't have to go on patrol today"
"Really" I grin "How?"
"Tony is bored and Pepper won't let him blow anything up" he jokes as I turn on the coffee maker "Can you make mine with-"
I cut him off "Milk, a tiny bit of cinnamon, and no sugar?" I recite
"You finally memorized it!" He laughs
"Yeah finally" I smile "Hey we doing our next episode of Game of Thrones with Ned and MJ tonight?"
"Yep, you're on popcorn detail" he smirks
"Fine!!! But I'm not putting chocolate in it" I agree and he gasps in shock as I sprinkle cinnamon in, giggling at his dramatics
I pick up his cup in mine and start walking over to him
Somehow I trip on air and almost fall, but I land in those same strong arms as before. I can feel myself blushing, you would think after dating a guy for 4 years that effect would be off. But nope still as red as a tomato
He lifts me and takes the mugs setting them on the coffee table. And looking at me trying to hold in laughter
I start laughing myself and fall on the couch. He swings over and sits next to me, chuckling as well
"How do I manage these things," I say tears brimming my eyes
"I don't know but I love you anyway," he says pulling me close to him and I smile. I turn on FRIENDS and we start singing the intro just like every morning
