Always and Forever (TH)

Y/N POV

Tom and I were sitting in my childhood backyard. We've lived next to each other since we were seven years old. Today we are moving out to LA so me and Tom can live out our acting careers

Slowly the rocking bench creaked back and forth. Tom was falling asleep on my shoulder so I doing my best not to move

I think back to when I met Tom

I was playing with my big brother, Nick, in the backyard. We were going back and forth with the baseball and it was my turn to throw

I launched the ball in the air and before Nick could catch it, the ball flew over the fence. We heard a hard clunk and what sounded like a little boy whining "Ouch"

We ran around to the house next door and through the side so we could get to the backyard. I saw an adorable little boy with tousled curls and chocolate-brown eyes

I hid behind Nick's legs while he apologized "Hey little dude, sorry about that. My sister doesn't know her strength" giving the boy an apologetic smile

The boy was about my age and I'm pretty sure he was three tables away from me in school

"It's okay," he says getting up and handing us our ball "Just kinda hurts"

He rubs his forehead and I gasp. I pull my little first aid kit out of my pocket and open up a bandaid. I walk over to him and press it on his head, I kiss it and walk back behind my brother

His face flushed red and my brother laughed "We should be heading back, see you around little dude" We start walking back to our house

Nick laughs and I say "What?"

"You like him!" He teases

I gasp getting flustered "I do not!"

"Do too"

"Do not"

"MOM!"

Who would've thought for once my stupid brother was right? Tom and I started talking and ever since we we're best friends. But back then we both wished it was more

Tom stirred and I was scared he was waking up back then he settled back down. I ran my fingers through his hair

I remember when I realized I liked Tom

It was our first school dance in seventh grade. I was in a baby blue dress down to my knees and my mom did my hair in loose curls

I was grabbing my shoes and my mom yelled upstairs that Tom was here. We agreed to go as friends because no one asked us

I ran downstairs and saw Tom in a dark blue dress shirt and slacks, his hair was gelled back and he had a sharp black tie on. It was simple but made my legs feel week

I regain my composure "Shall we head to the dance Mr.Holland" I say in a royal tone

"We shall Ms. L/N" He replys and holds out his arm. I accept and we start walking down to the school

Man I should've told him I liked him way before I did

Senior prom was in three weeks and I still didn't have a date. I only wanted to go with one person though

I was walking to the fifth period and of course, Debbie Wilkinson was flirting with Tom in the back of the classroom. Tom seemed extremely uncomfortable so I had to be the good friend I was and save him

I was walking over to them but stopped in my tracks when Debbie asked "So, would you wanna go to prom together"

I tensed, what would he say? They still hadn't noticed me so I sat in a chair and put the hood on my jacket up

"I'm sorry Debbie but I was planning on asking someone else," he says. I was slightly relieved but also my heart dropped. Of course. Tom could get any girl he wanted in this school

"Ugh it's that wired y/N girl isn't it" she snaps "I'm so much better than her Tommy"

"You are nothing compared to y/n. She's amazing and you're a high school has been waiting to happen" he said and grabbed my arm as he rushed out of the classroom

He stops and I put my hood down "So you noticed me"

"Kinda hard not to notice the most beautiful girl in any room," he says looking down "I'm gonna get to the point. Y/N I like you and have for years now so I wanna know, will you go to prom with me?"

I wrap my arms around him and try to contain myself from screaming "Yes Thomas Stanley Holland, I will go prom with you"

Yeah, I'm gonna spend the rest of my life with this boy
