I heard my phone ring and sat up then saw it was five in the afternoon, which confused me. I saw the name of the caller and cursed as I sat up and answered.
"Hey, Zak."
"Hey, so, we'reoutsidetheaddressyougaveus-"
"I just woke up so give me a second and I'll open the door." I said and he laughed as I ran through my house in my pajamas.
"You'refine." He said and I hung up then opened the door to see the GA crew at my door.
"Come in, I'll be quick." They nodded and I went to get dressed for the lockdown.

I went to the living room and slid my beanie on then turned and saw them staring.
"What?" I asked and they seemed to be knocked out of their daze.
"Sorry. Just wondering if you only own shorts." I laughed and we left then drove in their car to the John McGee house.
"Ready for this?" Nic asked and I slowly nodded.
"You don't have-"
"Yes I do." I said and we got out then I helped set up the cameras they were using to monitor the house.
"Hey, John! We're back and we have Evelina with us! If you want to harm her, you have to go through all four of us first!" Zak yelled as he stood in the foyer then he turned to us and smiled.
"This is going to be fun." I laughed and we went to Nerve Center, which was set up in the dining room, then I sat with Jay and Billy as the other two went upstairs to start the lockdown.
"Nervous?" Jay asked and I nodded.
"Yeah, some." I whispered then heard a crash from the kitchen.
"What was that?!" Zak yelled and they came downstairs as Jay, Billy, and I went into the kitchen.
"Something fell." I said and looked around then gripped Jay's arm.
"What is it?" He shined his flashlight and they stopped as they saw one of the big ass pots, which had been gorilla glued to the stove top, on the floor.
"How the hell did that happen?" Zak went over and lifted the pot then I hissed as I felt a burning on my thigh.
"Fuck." I whispered and Nic pointed his camera at me.
"Evelina, what's wrong?"
"My leg burns." I shined my phone's light on it then saw a big scratch.
"Did you just scratch her?" Zak asked and held up his recorder.
"Why do you hate Evelina so much?" Aaron asked and Nic grabbed the SB7 then turned it on.
"John McGee, are you here with us?" Zak asked and uncovered the speaker, allowing the white noise to fill the air.
"...yes..." I jumped and Zak seemed shocked based on the LED screen from Nic's camera. I took it as Jay went to the pot then set it on the stove as I recorded Zak.
"Mr McGee, why are you hurting me?" I asked and Zak looked at me then I felt like someone had dumped ice on me.
"Guys, I'm really cold." I whispered and Zak turned off the device.
"What?"
"I'm freezing right now." Jay got closer then I took the SB7 and turned it on.
"John, why do you keep attacking me? Do you hate women because of your wife?" I asked and it was silent then Jay came back and stood next to me.
"...women...will...die..." Came a man's voice and I felt like my heart stopped.
"Why do you want women to die? Do you blame me for Isabelle killing you?" I asked and the guys filmed me as I held the device in my hand.
"...EVELINA..." A voice screamed and I nearly dropped the device but I managed to calm down some.
"Why are you hurting Evelina?! She's not Isabelle, she's not your wife who murdered you so why are you attacking her?!" Nic asked and the device went silent.
"Did this just turn off?" I asked but my voice seemed higher in pitch than usual. Suddenly, I got a splitting headache and dropped both the camera and the spirit box.
"Evelina!" Billy grabbed me but I shoved him away and threw my beanie off.
"What's wrong?!" Zak tried to grab me but I tried to hit him, not being in control of my movements.
"Dude, I think she's possessed!" Aaron yelled and I slumped in Zak's grip then I felt like crying my eyes out, which I did.
"Stop hurting me! I didn't do anything wrong so leave me alone!" I cried and Zak hugged me then I gripped the front of his shirt tightly.
"John, I didn't kill you. I didn't do anything to you and you know this. Leave me alone and cross over." I said as Nic grabbed the camera then I finally felt the headache go away as I regained control of my body.
"He's gone." I whispered and Zak brushed my hair back.
"Do you need to go home?" I shook my head and he nodded.
"I think this lockdown is over, we've gotten all we need to prove something evil resides here." He said and we left but I ended up falling asleep in the SUV. I don't even remember how I got home but I vaguely recall someone carrying me and laying me in my bed at home.
"Night, Evelina." He whispered and I fell back asleep as they left.
