"Okay, I get needing a break but is this necessary?!" Zak asked as I packed my bags then I scoffed and turned to him.

"Seriously?! I was cut open, had a panic attack, and insulted by my own friend all in the span of a night! So yeah, this is necessary!" I growled and zipped my suitcase then grabbed my duffel and started tossing the remainder of my clothes in it.

"Lina, just wait! Evelina, hold on!" He said and caught my arms then I glared at him as he forced me to stop packing.

"Please, just hold on a second. I get Jay hurt you but please, don't just up and leave m- us, leave the crew-"

"If you thought I was gonna stick around long, you're wrong." I growled and his eyes widened then I packed the last of my clothes.

"Okay, but packing all your things?"

"I don't plan on coming back, Zak." I said and he was silent then I zipped my duffel and put it on my shoulder as I grabbed my suitcase.

"Evelina-"

"No, Zak. You can't convince me to stay. And don't you try to say Gracie will be miserable without me because we both know she loves you more than me." I said as he went to open his mouth but he snapped it shut and I left the bedroom.

"Lina, come on! What are you going to do, go home to your dad?!"

"YES!" I snapped as I turned on him and he suddenly stopped.

"I'm going home, Zak! To my dad, Liane, Tiny, Alec, mom, all of it! They're all in Maine and that's where I'm going! You can't stop me!" I said and opened the door then saw Aaron, Nic, Jay, and Billy but I shoved past them and to my car.

"Lina, seriously, think about this!" Zak pleaded as he came towards me then I laughed and shut the trunk of my car.

"Oh, I am. I'm seriously thinking about this and all I want is to leave this damn city in my rearview. If you wanna stop me, you'll have to chain me to the floor and drug me cause I'm leaving." I said and he caught my arm again before I got in my car.

"Evelina, please." He pleaded but I jerked my arm free and got in his face.

"Don't pretend to be hurt by my choice. You never really knew me, none of you did. And if you think for a second that you did, then you're wrong." I hissed in his face then got in my car and drove off, leaving that damned city for good. I didn't even realize I was crying until the road got blurry so I pulled over and turned the car off. I screamed and started pulling at my hair as I just let out all my anger and frustration but by the time I was done, it had been a good half hour. I started driving again and later got to Missouri, since I had left early morning but it was now long past dark. I got a cheap motel for the night and the lady just tossed me the key then I went to the room and quickly fell asleep. The next day, I woke at sunrise and started driving, getting Starbucks along the way. When I finally stopped for the day, I was in New York but I stayed in my car for the night, since I didn't trust the hotels around here. On day three, I finally got home and heard Tiny barking as Liane opened the door and dad came onto the porch.

"Should have told me you were coning."

"Yeah, maybe." I said and hugged dad then Tiny jumped on me and I smiled as I pet him.

"Your friend, Zak, called us. He said you had left in a blind rage, Evelina." Dad said and I looked at him then nodded.

"I have my reasons." I whispered and we went inside so I could explain those reasons to them.
