I watched the guys in the saloon from our camera but Jay was keeping an eye on me.

"Let me see." He moved the bandage some and eyed the cut then smiled at me.

"It doesn't look like a deep cut, I'd say a small scar." I nodded and heard a loud crash in the saloon then saw Zak pacing.

"COME ON! IF YOU'RE COWARD ENOUGH TO HURT A GIRL, COME FIGHT ME!" He yelled and I gripped Jay's arm then he held my hand tightly.

"He's mad." I nodded and Zak was forced to leave as Aaron and Nic stayed behind. When he got in here, I went to him but he hugged me and didn't let go.

"Zak, I'm okay-"

"You're bleeding, Evelina. That's not okay." He growled and I forced him to look at me by pulling his hair some.

"Zak, I'm okay. I'm not dead, I'm just bleeding a little bit, it's alright." I said and he stared at me then slowly nodded.

"Get a room." Billy said and I looked at him over my shoulder then laughed some.

"Sorry, Billy and Jay." I looked at Zak then let his hair go, sliding my fingers between the locks instead.

"I'm alright." He nodded but his eyes flickered to the bandages on my shoulder and chest.

"Zak, look at me." He did and I kissed his cheek.

"I'm okay." I whispered in his ear and he held me close to him as Jay sighed behind us.

"Or don't, just keep having a 'friendly, no feelings at all' moment behind us." Zak laughed this time and I went to Jay then hugged his neck.

"Oh, do you two feel left out?"

"Not in the least bit. Check this out. I was reviewing the camera feed from when you were in the saloon and found this." He said and I eyed the screen that seemed to be Nic's camera. As we watched, we could see the cut on my chest just appear.

"That's why I didn't feel it. It was so sudden." He nodded and Zak leaned over me, making me overly conscious of his presence.

"So whoever cut her-"

"Likes to be really quick and clean. I'll radio Nic and Aaron." I nodded and Zak left the room then Billy smirked up at me.

"Admit it, you've got it bad for Zak." I rolled my eyes and sighed.

"Every girl does, have you seen him?"

"Yes, and I've seen the way you look at him. Jay looks at Ashley that way." He said and I looked down at him.

"Billy, we're in the middle of a lockdown. Is this really appropriate timing?" I asked and he and Jay snorted.

"Yes, answer my question. Do you love him?"

"Love who?" I jumped and turned to see Zak standing there.

"Oh, uh, no one." I said and he nodded like he didn't believe me.

"Alright. Anyway, the sun will come up soon." I nodded and we gathered the equipment that was around nerve but Jay kept smirking at me. Eventually, I glared at him and he shrugged.

Zak's POV
I watched Jay smirk at Lina then eyed her and saw her blushing, which made bad thoughts fill my head.

"Hey, Evelina, mind taking this to the car?" She looked at me and nodded as she slowly took the case. She left, her bare feet smacking on the wood, then I went to Jay and Billy and leaned over Jay.

"Jay, you have Ashley-"

"Wait, what?" He looked up at me and I lifted an eyebrow as Billy's brow furrowed.

"You were just smirking at Lina-"

"Because of something that has nothing to do with romantic feelings between us! She's like my sister, Zak! I won't screw around with her because you're right, I have Ashley! I don't want to ruin that with someone like Lina!" He said then I heard something hit the floor behind us and turned to see Lina standing there, her phone on the ground.

"Someone like me? And what's wrong with me?" She asked and I saw tears in her eyes.

"Evelina, I didn't mean it like that!" Jay tried but Aaron and Nic came in then eyed us.

"There's some serious tension here."

"What's going on?" Nic asked and Lina lifted her phone then shook her head as she smiled.

"Nothing, I'm just taking a needed break from this show." She snapped and grabbed the next case that had been packed away. I looked at Jay and he sighed as he eyed the monitors and Billy went to check the mics we had packed away still.

"What did we miss?" Aaron asked with a joking tone but I put my hand up to stop him.

"Seriously, now isn't the time, Aaron. Please." I whispered and he shut his camera off then nodded.

"Alright, then let's get packed." He whispered and we started packing everything. That morning, we changed into some comfortable clothes for the flight home but no one said anything and Lina quickly fell asleep in the back. She had basically forced Jay to sit in the passengers seat away from her and Aaron eyed me as Billy and Nic finished packing the last case. I shook my head at Aaron but he wouldn't forget this, I knew he wouldn't. I got a text on my phone and saw it was Ashley asking me why Jay texted her about hurting someone close to him and I groaned, laying my head back so I could try and get some sleep.
