I groaned as I walked to the kitchen with Tiny behind me but Gracie was in there with Zak stirring his coffee.
"Morning." He turned to me and smiled but his eyes moved down to the necklace I now wore.
"It looks good on you."
"Thanks." I whispered as he handed me a cup of coffee then I sat on the counter and sipped on the liquid.
"So, we're on another break?"
"End of the season break, yeah." I nodded and he handed me a plate of eggs and bacon.
"Thank you." He nodded and Tiny sat next to me then I dropped a piece of bacon for him to eat.
"Fatass." He barked and Gracie barked too then I rolled my eyes and Zak smiled at me.
"Hey, I was thinking. Since this is your first end of season break, we could go out to eat." I nodded and he smiled then I slid off the counter to go clean my room since it needed it. I ended up doing laundry, putting new sheets on the bed, cleaning the dresser and nightstand, sweeping the floors and vacuuming the carpet, and even cleaning my bathroom. By that time, it was a couple hours past noon so I went to shower and get myself cleaned up for dinner. As I was looking for clothes, Zak knocked on the door and I opened it, holding my towel tightly.
"Uh, sorry. I just wanted to let you know I figured we could go to like, Outback steakhouse." I nodded and he rushed off, face and ears red, then I went to get dressed.

I blow dried my hair then went to do my makeup while he got dressed. I put my pearl necklace back on then went to my closet and got my leather jacket on, going to the front door. I heard Zak coming then turned to see him in his usual black jeans and tight T-shirt with a white design on it. He grabbed his hat then slid on a hoodie and grabbed the keys to his car.
"Hey, ready?" He nodded and we went to the car then drove to Outback steakhouse. When we had a table, we ordered fried mushrooms as an appetizer.
"I'm not going to like this." Zak laughed but I rolled my eyes.
"Just try it, please." He sighed and bit into it then I laughed as he smiled through it.
"Alright, you win. It's pretty good." I nodded and he cleared his throat as he grabbed his drink.
"Ha, I told you!" I laughed and he smiled then we kept eating and soon went back to the house.
"Hey, uh, Lina?" I looked at Zak then froze as he launched forward and kissed me. I grabbed his shirt then held him as close as I could, glad he finally found the balls to do this, then slid my arm around his neck. He smiled on my lips and held my waist then pulled me against him more, deepening the hesitant kiss. I gasped as he backed me into the wall then he slowly broke the kiss when we heard paws on the floor, coming closer.
"Now, why did it take you so long?" I whispered and he grinned as he licked his lips.
"I didn't want to be throat punched." I laughed and hugged his neck then Tiny and Gracie barked at us.
"Hey, you two." Zak smiled and pet Tiny as Gracie looked up at me.
"Hey, girl." I whispered and kissed her head then we went upstairs to change for bed.

I left my robe untied as I went to the kitchen then I saw Zak leaning on the counter, talking to himself.
"Idiot, idiot, idiot. Why did you kiss her? Fuck, she doesn't even care that way." I went over and he jumped as I slid my hand up his arm, my other arm hugging his waist.
"Zak, you're not an idiot. I had been waiting a long time for you to do that, I never hated it. And I do care about you, more than you know." He looked at me then I forced him to turn and hugged his waist with both arms.
"I never once wanted you to stop kissing me earlier." He grabbed my arms then I stood on my tiptoes and kissed him, his body leaning down into me. I held his waist tighter then he backed me into the counter and deepened the kiss. I gasped as he grabbed my legs then lifted me off the ground, sitting me on the counter. I let him slide the robe off then he threw it to the ground and grabbed my thighs under my dress as I slid my hands under his shirt, pushing it up. He let me take it off then he kissed my neck as I untied his sleep pants.
"Do you want me to stop?" I shook my head and kissed him as I pushed his pants down off his hips. He hissed as I dug my nails into his hipbones then he grabbed my sleep dress and pulled it off me, mostly exposing me. And that night, I think we had sex in about every room of the house on the way to the bedroom.
