I stretched as I woke up then I remembered we were in a hotel when I saw the shitty wallpaper behind the old headboard. I groaned and looked for Zak but he wasn't next to me, making me sit up on my elbows some. I looked around but his things were gone and a note was on the table. I got up and went over then grabbed it and read over his handwriting.
I clenched my jaw then threw on something, not even bothering to check what it was.

I grabbed a room key and stormed out, going to Billy's room and banging my hand against it. He opened the door then I saw Aaron, Jay, Ashley, Nic, Rob, and a couple other members of the crew inside.
"Lina? Where's Zak?" I gave him the note as I shoved past him then I went to the windows as he read it.
"Wait, so you're saying he just up and left?!"
"Yeah, apparently!" I snapped and sighed as I leaned on the desk and Jay took the note, reading it aloud.
"This isn't like him, something must have come up." Nic tried to defend his friend then I checked my phone but saw nothing from Zak.
"Where does his family live?" I asked and Billy sighed.
"DC." Then I nodded and called Zak, trying to see if I could at least reach him.
"The number you have dialed-" I hung up and slid my phone into my pocket then sighed.
"He's not answering."
"Then it's a good thing I know where his family is in DC." Aaron said and I nodded as we packed our things and went to the airport. While waiting for our flight, I called the dog sitter and explained that our trip would take longer than planned but I didn't go into detail. •~• I stared out the window as Aaron drove but when we got to the Bagans house, I didn't see another rental car.
"Maybe his family picked him up." Nic hopefully whispered and we got out then I knocked on the door. When it opened, an older woman smiled at me.
"Evelina!" I was shocked as she hugged me then she dragged me inside, the guys trailing.
"Zak, look who showed up!" We got to the kitchen then I saw Zak but he seemed so shocked as he saw us.
"L-"
"We need to talk." I hissed, my mood doing a 180 as soon as I saw him. He nodded and stood then I grabbed his hair and dragged him upstairs and to a random room, not really giving a shit.
"Ow! Can you let go of my-"
"What the hell is your fucking problem?!" I yelled and he seemed shocked as he rubbed his scalp and I stood in front of him, glaring at him.
"Lina-"
"You just up and left because of some family issues?! Your mom seems pretty fucking shit happy! And all we get is a god damn note and when I tried to call you, you don't even have the balls to answer your fucking phone! Do you know how worried we were?!" I yelled and he looked at the ground, his entire body sagging under an invisible weight.
"Lina, let me expla-"
"Explain?! Didn't you explain enough-" I stopped as he grabbed me, turned us, and slammed me to the wall.
"You don't fucking know! You don't know a god damn thing about what's going on so don't pretend to! If you knew, you wouldn't be here screaming in my god damn face, you bitch!" He yelled then his eyes widened as he slowly let me go. Honestly, I was terrified of him right now. Never in the two and a half years of my life with him have I ever been the target of his aggression and anger. I stared at him as he slowly looked at me then he went to touch my but I flinched.
"Lina, please, I didn't-"
"Don't touch me!" I yelled as he went to but he stopped and I shook my head.
"Don't ever touch me again." I whispered and slipped out of the room, running downstairs and to the car.
"Lina!"
"Evelina, wait!" The guys came out but I climbed into the car and held my head, sobbing into my lap.
"Lina-"
"Take me home." I cried and Aaron went silent.
"Alright." He whispered and the car started then I looked up and saw Zak standing on the porch, tears falling from his eyes. I looked away as Jay grabbed my shoulder but I flinched and he let go immediately.
"What happened upstairs, Lina?" Billy whispered and I shook my head as we drove towards the airport.
"That's not Zak." I whispered and closed my eyes, silently sobbing.
