Zoe's POV
I threw on a maroon colored beanie that complemented my dirty blonde hair before grabbing my brown jacked and putting on some uggs. I make my way out of my little apartment and walked around the corner to the little Starbucks I always went to. Something about the place made me feel comfortable and warm. I came here everyday at the same time, sat in the same spot, ordered the same drink, and got the same chocolate muffin. Sure it was repetitive, but I didn't mind.
The fall air felt nice on this bright sunny day. I felt at peace with the world. I walked around the corner and came in contact with the starbucks. I opened the heavy door and the little bell rang. I was greeted by the smell of coffee filling my lungs and the silence of fellow costumers. I walked up to the counter and ordered my strawberry and creme frappechino and chocolate muffin before going to sit down at my normal 2 person seat against the window. Nobody ever sat here except for me.
"Zoe" I heard my name being called by the cashier causing me to walk up to the counter and get my things.I said a quick thank you before heading back to my seat. Pulling out my book and opening to where I left off, I continued to read, sip, bite, then read some more. I couldn't help but feel a pair of eyes on me. I looked up and saw a boy who looked around my age, with dyed green hair and wearing a grey beanie. His skin was pale but it complemented his green eyes perfectly. Once he saw that I was looking at him, he looked away quickly pretending to be interested in his drink sitting in front of him.
I looked back at my book not being bothered by the attractive boy who was looking at me once again. I decided to not look up this time though. I mean whats the point? When will I ever see him again? He was the least of my worries right now. I was snapped out of my thoughts by my phone buzzing in my back pocket. I took it out expecting it would be a phone call, but instead it was my 8am alarm going off, signaling that I was late to work, once again. I quickly threw out my napkin from the muffin and empty cup before running out the door and all the way to work.

Michael's POV
I was sitting at my little table at starbucks, drinking my mocha and texting my friend, Ashton. I was texting away when I heard the little enterance bell ring signaling that someone had entered the cafe. I looked up and saw a girl around my age walking in wearing a maroon beanie as her blonde hair cascaded down her back. Her cheeks and nose were red due to the coldness but it just made her even cuter. After ordering she went and sat at a little to person table next to the window on the other side of the cafe.
"Zoe" the cashier called. Responding to the call the girl stood up quickly and grabbed her drink.
Zoe. Her name is Zoe.
She was now back at her seat and I couldn't help but stare at her. I guess I was staring a little too long because she noticed and looked my way. Panicking, I looked away and stared intensely at my drink. After a few moments Zoe finally looked back at her book. I continued to stare, trying to be more suttle this time. All of a sudden she stood up quickly, threw away her garbage, and ran out the door. She was gone. I couldn' t help but feel a little disappointed. I decided to text Ashton about it.
