Sam's POV
I was in the bathroom having a complete meltdown over everything.Homeschool, homeschool sounds GREAT.
I was literally just sitting on the floor sobbing, when I heard someone come in.
I quickly tried to quiet my sobs and catch my breath, but I heard someone ask "who's in here?"
I groaned when I recognized the voice.
Mrs. Holden, the guidance counselor. She already thinks I'm a huge liar for accusing Mr. Jackson with flirting with me.
She wasn't very good at giving guidance. Or counseling.
I remained silent, hoping she'd think she had just heard something.
"I know someone's in here."
I sighed, got up off the floor, and opened up the stall door.
Her face softened. "Sam what's wrong?" She asked, walking over and putting a hand on my shoulder.
Should I tell her everything? About Mr. Jackson and Ethan?
Ethan had done the same thing again to me yesterday.
Brady happened to be with me and he yelled at him, but Ethan just sauntered off. Like he was gonna get intimidated by a sophomore yelling at him.
After that, Brady told me I had 5 days to tell Michael or he was going to.
"I- um- I don't think you'd believe me," I squeaked.
I turned to a mirror. Wow I'm a mess. Raccoon eyes that were red, my face had tear and mascara streaks all over it, and my face is super red and puffy.
I just wanted to find Michael and run into his arms....
"Samantha, I want you to tell me what's going on. Right now."
"Mr. Jackson. He makes me uncomfortable, I'm telling you the truth. He keeps flirting with me and winking at me and talking to me and asking me personal questions," I said, my voice trembling.
"Why don't we go into my office so we don't have to talk in here?" She offered.
I nodded. "Okay, but I kind of bolted from class to come in here..." I said as we left the restroom.
"That's fine, I'll take care of it. Let's go."

Michael's POV
The bell rang for lunch, so I darted out of class.I hadn't seen Sam since before first period, and I usually walked her to different classes or at least bumped into her throughout the day, at least when I'm not ditching, but today I hadn't seen her.
I'm worried about her. She hasn't been answering my texts either.
I ran into the cafeteria, then literally trampled someone right in the doorway.
"I'm so sorry," I said, helping the girl up.
I recognized her as one of the underclassmen, she's one of the girls who all surround Brady and I from time to time. Or scream and squeal when we're in their presence.
"Um-it's ok Michael Conor," she said. "I'm glad it was you who ran over me."
What does that even mean??? Girls in the fandom are always like "Michael could hit me with a truck and I wouldn't be mad." I don't get it.
I just kind of laughed. "Sorry again. I'll see ya," I said, then skirted around her and scanned the cafeteria.
Finally I spotted Sam, she looked like she was looking around for me.
She spotted me and waved, but didn't smile.
Something's wrong.
I jogged over to her, and there was stress and fear all over her face.
"Babe what's wrong?" I asked, pulling her in a hug.
"IjustgotateacherfiredandHeatherfoundoutandtoldtheworldandnoweveryonehates me," she rambled.
"Wait what? Slow down. Come on, let's get out of here. We'll go somewhere for lunch," I said, putting my arm around her shoulder and guiding her towards the door.
She sighed. "Okay. Just take me anywhere but here."

Sorryyyyyy this was so short ughhhh and kind of a filler, these last couple have kind of been just fillers until homecoming where things are gonna get real. It's not gonna be next chapter though because there's gonna be ones of all the boys getting into town, but it's coming soon I promise.
Anyways I've been super busy and also was having serious writers block sorry guys but hopefully I'll be updating again soon.
Please comment any feedback, ideas or predictions you have!!
Love y'all,
