Samantha's POV
I was literally just awkward swinging on the swing of the swingset in the park. It'd been about ten minutes since Michael had taken off running.

I smiled. He was so cute, and had been so excited for whatever he had planned.

"Sam!!" I looked up and spotted him waving across the park.

I grinned and got off the swing.

I reached him and he smiled. "Hey." He was holding a picnic basket in one hand, and take out bags in the other.

I squinted to see what the bags said.

Tacoriffic, the local taco place.

I grinned. I loved tacos.

He smiled when he saw me grin. "You like tacos?"

I laughed. "Who doesn't?"

"Weirdos. Weirdos don't. Like Brady," he said.

I gasped. "But... how??"

He laughed, shaking his head. "I don't know. He's not human," he said, and I giggled.

He handed me the bags. "Could you hold these for a sec?"

He then got a blanket out of the basket and spread it out.

"Hope you like picnics," he said, taking my free hand and pulling me to sit by him.

"I love them. This is perfect," I said.

We got out our food and started eating. "So, tell me about yourself. I don't know that much about you," he said.

"Um, ok. I'm seventeen, Shawn's my only sibling. My parents are workaholics, I don't even see them much. We grew up with nannies and babysitters all the time. So I'm not close to either of my parents," I said.

He made a sad face. "I'm sorry."

I shrugged. "It's fine. It's just what I'm used to. Shawn and I are really close because of it. We've always been best friends," I said.

He grinned. "And enemies when it comes to basketball?"

I laughed. "Yes."

"Tell me about your family," I said.

"I have four siblings. Katlyns 19, Erica's 15, Patrick's 11, and Brendan's 9. I'm pretty much close to all of them. We've always been a close family. Now I sort of have an extra sibling, with Brady living with us," he said, laughing.

I smiled. "It's cool you guys get to live together. I bet you miss everyone else from the show though," I said.

He nodded. "Definitely. But the band, In Real Life, is actually coming here next week. They're gonna stay at my house, so you'll get to meet all of them."

I nodded. "I've been watching the show on Hulu. I haven't gotten to the finale yet. So, which ones made the band?" I asked.

"Chance, Drew, Sergio, Mikey, and Marcus."

"Oh wow. Cool," I said.

He nodded. "I'm really happy for them. Though I had wanted to make the band, I'm happy where I am. I've been working on a lot of stuff with my manager, Ray, and I have some cool stuff coming up. I also might be doing a collab with J-Hype. He's supposed to come visit soon too," he said.

"Aww yay! He's so cool, I can just tell. I wanna meet him," I said.

He grinned. "He is seriously the coolest 14 year old ever."

I shook my head. "I still refuse to believe he is 14," I said, and he laughed.

"If anything, Boy Band taught me age doesn't matter. We all shared the same passion, it didn't matter that some of us were 18 and 19 and some were 14 and 15."
