Chapter 19

General

Lea looks at Aga, her facial expressions says it all, she's confused with what Julie has told everyone.

"Is it true?" Lea whispered as Aga slowly looks at her, shock was all over written on his face "Ags.."

Aga didn't answer and instead he just bow down his head a reason for Lea to make a move and get her hands from Aga as she immediately stands up and head to where Julie is seating.

"Lianne..."

The two girls who was assisting Julie to calm her down looks at Lea, shock was evident in their eyes because only Julie's family, relatives and close friends knows that nickname and she rarely let anybody call her that. Even Atasha and Andres rarely call her that because from what they know, Julie hates it every time that she hears that nickname because it was her biological mother who gave that nickname of hers and from what they know, Julie and her biological mother aren't in good terms so they assumed that's the reason why their best friend is annoyed when someone called her that.

Lea immediately hug Julie when she went near her and bend down to hug her and said "I--I'm sorry, star. I--I'm sorry, I didn't know"

Julie just let Lea hug her not because she wants too but because she needs to, her friends don't know about the fact Lea Salonga, the Broadway Diva is her mother and if she'll push her away they'll question her. Hindi lang din ito ang magtataka pati mga co-contestants niya at mga staffs ng The Voice.

"I'm fine, Coach" Julie said as she breaks the hug and gave her a small smile "You don't have to worry, I'm fine po. In fact, I'm always fine" she said before stepping backward and looks at her co-contestants "So who's next?"

"She's happy" Lea muttered as she looks at her daughter talking to the other contestants.

Aga looks at Lea as she finally say a word to him, kanina niya pa kasi ito gustong kausapin pero ni isang salita walang lumalabas sa bibig niya, so he just followed her wherever she go and mingle with other people she's talking to then he looks at her daughter who's now talking to her friends which cause him to smile a little bit "She is"

They were standing on the other side where Julie and her friends are standing, with a glass of champagne on their hands. Lea usually decline a glass of alcoholic drinks whenever she's with Nicole or with the other kids but today was an exemption, her heart is in pain after hearing what her daughter said. She gave birth to her, but she never knew her.

"She never smile that way to me" Lea truthfully said which cause Aga to bit the bottom of his lips "After knowing the reason why, hindi na ako nagtataka kung bakit galit siya sa akin. I wasn't there when she needed me" she said as she bit the bottom of her lips to stop herself from crying.

Aga looks at Lea and diverted his eyes to another direction as he saw Lea controlling herself not to cry "I'm sorry" he said which cause Lea to look at Aga and the tears she was trying to hold starts to escape on her eyes.

Julie stops from laughing when she heard someone called her name, she couldn't help but look at the direction of the person calling her "Kylie"
