Lea

"Lei"

Napangiti ako habang pinagmamasdan ang taong bumukas ng pinto, smiling at me while his dimples are showing.

Thirteen years may have passed but his looks and smile never changed, it always pleases me every time I look at him, he may be a little fat as we get old, but his looks never fail to amaze me, he was still the man I loved.

"Come in, she's asleep already"

I didn't say anything and just nod and followed him inside his villa "Julie's in that room, peacefully sleeping" he said as he pointed the door on the left side of the villa before he excused his self.

"Where are you going?" I couldn't help but asks him, I mean papaano kung pumasok ako at nagising si Julie, di mas lalong magagalit sa akin worst pati sila Aga madadamay.

"May kukunin lang ako sa kitchen, can I offer anything? Coffee? Tea? Or me?"

I just gave him a look.

Is he seriously flirting with me right now?

I heard him giggle which me look at her while raising my eyebrows "Relax, Lei. I was just joking" he said "Ano Lei, can I offer you ba something?"

I shake my head as a response "I'm good Ags, I'll just go to Julie's room. She's a deep sleeper pa rin ba?"

Nakita kong tumango si Aga "Kaya nga tatlo ang alarm clock niyan, pang-apat yung cellphone niya para daw magising talaga ang diwa niya. Ayaw niya kasing malate"

"Ikaw lang naman kaya ang kilala kong palaging late eh"

"Huyy harsh ha?"

I tap his shoulders "Totoo naman kasi, sa airport ka lang yata hindi nalalate eh"

"Grabe Lei, ah? Sinagad mo na talaga? May hinanakit ka ba sa pagiging late ko?" tanong ni Aga sa akin.

Noon oo, ngayon wala na dahil hindi na ikaw ang leading man ng buhay ko. Charot!

"Wala, and will you please? Keep your mouth shut? Baka magising si Julie before I could even kiss her goodnight"

"It's already 5:30 in the morning Lea, you can give her a morning kiss later"

"Later?" pagkakaclarify ko sa kanya. So anong silbi ng pagpunta ko dito kung mamaya ko pa pupuntahan ang anak ko? Kaya lang naman kasi ako nandito kasi he texted me that Julie went back to sleep so pwede ko na daw silipin kahit paano si Julie.

"I mean now, heto naman namali lang highblood ka kaagad. Sige na puntahan mo na siya, I'll just grab something in the kitchen" nakangiting sambit ni Aga sa akin at tsaka siya lumakad patungong kitchen.

Lumakad ako patungo sa kwarto na itinuro ni Aga kung saan nandun daw at natutulog si Julie. Ginising niya daw kasi si Julie mga bandang alas tres para maaga silang makarating dito dahil may aasikasuhin pa daw siya at para ahead of time daw silang dalawa kaya hindi na ako nagtataka kung bakit natulog ulit si Julie since our call time is 1 o' clock in the afternoon pa.

I stop in front of the door as I gather all of my courage and sighed to relax a little bit since I'm feeling a little bit, no, I'm feeling nervous, really nervous right now dahil natatakot ako na magising siya at mas magalit sa akin kapag nalaman niya na alam ko na ang totoo.

Alam kong mali, but like her I'm doing this to get to know her, to get close to her.

Dahan-dahan kong binuksan ang pintuan kung saan natutulog si Julie and like what Aga said, she's peacefully sleeping. Napangiti na lang ako nang makitang nakaon ang lamp sa bedside table niya, I guess she's still afraid if she couldn't see anything when she wakes up? Or maybe it became a habit of hers to not turn the lamp off everytime she wents to sleep or maybe nakalimutan lang niya?
