I woke to the sound of the ground bridge starting up. I hadn't realized that I had drifted off, but the sleep was nice. I looked towards the ground bridge and saw two Autobots that I hadn't seen before coming through. I leaned towards Jack.

"Who are they?" I asked.

"The white one with the swords is Wheeljack and the other one is Ultra Magnus, Optimus' second in command." he responded.

"And the yellow and black one?" I turned to the Autobots already in the base, whom I had seen earlier.

"That's Bumblebee, he lost his voice box in the war on Cybertron. Only transformers and Raf can understand him," he said. We sat there in silent for a bit. "Sorry if I went distance after I meet Arcee, I was just so involved in all of this." Jack gestured around the base.

"Does your mom know?"

"Yeah, she helps out and pops by once in awhile. She used to come by whenever one of us got hurt, but ever since Ratchet got his holoform she doesn't need to come as often anymore. Only when there is a major medical emergency. She does show up sometimes just to say 'hi'. " We were silent once again.

"What time is it?" I asked, breaking the silence.

"5:30" he replied.

"Do the bots have any food? I'm starving. I haven't had food since..." I thought for a moment. "Last night."

"Yep, I'll go get some. Umm, what day was it that you were kidnapped?" Jack asked.

"Saturday," I replied after thinking for a moment. I don't really remember any of the days that well, they all just blur together.

"I'm sorry to say, but it's Sunday Lora."

My body went ridged. Sunday? That didn't seem right? "What? I've been gone for a day!" I asked, shocked. I didn't want to believe it.

"Sorry to break it to you," he apologized again. He gave me a sad smile as he walked down the stairs to get some food for me. I let it sink in. My guardian was going to kill me. I liked it here but I really need to go home; I didn't need his wraith.

"Ratchet, after I eat, can I please go home?" I tried to hide my worry "my parent will be worried."

"Let me check your ankle one more time before you leave," Ratchet responded, not looking up from his computers.

"Okay, thanks." Jack came back with some granola bars and a water bottle. I thanked Jack before I tore open the granola bars and wolfed them down, barley tasting them. I chugged the water, the cool liquid quenching my thirst. I had no idea I was that hungry or thirsty until I finish eating.

After I was done, I got up from the couch and started to hop down the stairs. Jack rushed towards me and helped me down the metal stairs. Hopping down them had created quite the racket.

I sat down on the medical bed as Ratchet did one last scan. The light still went red when it reached my ankle. He then went into his holoform and unwrapped my ankle. He inspected it yet again, as if looking for further injuries that he missed, then wrapped it back up.

"You're good to go," he said as his holoform disappeared. He walked back over to his computer and continued to do what ever he was doing. Without a word, Smokescreen transformed into his car mode. The body was white with a red and white checker flag on each door along with the number thirty-eight, which was also red, in big bold writing.

"You ready to go?" He asked. I hopped up to the car with Jack's help and climbed inside.

"See you tomorrow at school," Jack said.
