After Shockwave finished doing a whole bunch of waving weird equipment over me, and getting whatever data he needed from me, Megatron walked into the laboratory.

"Do you think it will work?" He asked Shockwave with no emotion in his voice.

"Will what work?" I questioned, scared.

"It is logical that the cortical psychic patch will work on a human," Shockwave continued, ignoring my question. That didn't sound good at all. I didn't know what that patch thing was, but I didn't like the sound of it.

"Proceed," Megatron sneered. Shockwave reached down to the table beside my slab that I was restrained to, and grabbed a long purple and black cord. He grabbed one end and connected it to the back of my table. Megatron then went and laid down on the slab like table  to my left. Shockwave connected the other end of the cord to the back of his slab. Megatron's eyes shut and then he went motionless. I felt a headache start up at that exact moment.

Ever so slowly, it got worse, pounding against my skull. Shockwave looked up to the computer that monitored me and did nothing but watch as it unfolded.

The headache was now a migraine. It hurt so much as it pounded, a constant, relentless pounding. I closed my eyes and was so close to tears when Shockwave unplugged the cord from the back of my table. The migraine instantly stopped. I breathed slowly and heavily letting the tension leave my posture.

I heard Shockwave's heavy footsteps walk over to where Megatron was. I opened my eyes curiously and saw Shockwave bend down underneath Megatron's table and unplug the cord. The evil warlord sat up and got off of the table.

"I did not work, my liege," Shockwave said.

"I assumed it wouldn't work on this pathetic species," Megatron sneered.

"Who you calling pathetic?" I asked scornfully. Megatron glared at me. With that, he turned and left the room.

After Shockwave was done with me, he hung me back up in my cell and let me be. I had not seen anyone since Shockwave left. My stomach was constantly growling and my mouth was so dry. I had no saliva in my mouth and had nothing to swallow. This time they hadn't given me water. My lips were surely cracked and dry, my hair matted and filthy. I was sure my face was ghastly pale and filled with grime and dirt.

I was a hundred percent sure that I was a mess. I had no idea how much longer I could last both physically and mentally.

As I hung there, an idea popped into my head.

If I could get out of these chains, I could probably sneak around the warship and find a way out, and if not then maybe contact the Autobots somehow. No one would see a little human like myself, especially if they weren't looking. I just had to figure out how to get my chains off.

I started to swing, back and forth. Ever so slowly, I felt them get a little loser on my left hand. I was able to pull my hand out. "Ha, beat that Decepticons," I whispered happily, a smile on my face. This success, not matter how small, had really improved my mood. I learnt that apparently Shockwave couldn't wrap chains on me.

Now I was stuck with another problem, I was hanging by just one hand and my arm felt like it was going rip right off.

"Scrap," I swore quietly.

I hung there, gently swinging back and forth as I tried to think of a plan, any plan that might work. I could just bring my arm up to unwrap the chains, but eventually got the chain stuck where I couldn't reach it. My left arm was originally wrapped by a whole bunch of chains but now it was just a few that I couldn't reach around my wrist. I scrunched my face up in frustration. I felt a sudden pain flare up in my wrist that trailed through my arm as I fell towards the ground. The chains holding me up came lose and now I was now free falling towards the floor.

I hoped that the amulet's power would protect me against falling. I closed my eyes and prepared to become a pancake on the ground, and if not that, at least have a broken leg or two. Luckily, the amulet worked.

A blue ball of Energon enveloped me, and instead of just going straight to the ground and disappearing, I bounced. Only slightly, but still, I bounced. A surprised and happy look appeared on my face as I went back into the air.

Two seconds later, I stopped bouncing and the orb dissolved. I was left lying on the floor on my back.

"That was a new one," I groaned as I sat up. I observed my wrist, and realized it was probably broken before I cradled it to my chest and went to observing the cell I was in.

I hadn't really planned this far. I wasn't expecting to actually get out of my bonds but at least I could maybe, just maybe, get off of this warship.

The only way out of the room was the door so I decided to go out that way, I probably would get caught, but, what the hey, I had no better options. I walked to the door and it opened all the sudden, but not because of me. I ducked down and stuck as close to wall as I could.  Shockwave walked into my cell.

"Scrap! I'm total busted," I whispered to myself.

"Lock down the ship, the girl has escaped!" Shockwave commanded to the two Vehicons standing guard outside the door. "It's illogical that she has gotten far," They both ran off in different directions.

I took the opportunity and slipped outside the door and ran to nowhere in particular. I was hoping that I would find a way off this flying nightmare and return to the Autobots.
