Chapter 35

Swoop flew straight for the Predacon, his yellow eyes locked onto his target. Thier chests lit up, and the twin jets of flames roared out, clashing in the air. Swoop cut off his flame first, throwing himself over the flame. Predaking had no time to react as Swoop plummeted, grabbing him with his talons. They both moved onto close range attacks, abandoning the long range.

Grimlock went for Shockwave, mace held high above his head. Every vehicon and insecticon in his path was removed, whether that was by smacking them away with his mace, or kicking them. When he got to Shockwave, he brought his mace down with all his might and released a war cry that shook the earth. Shockwave brought up his gun and blocked it, but that wasn't enough. The Decepticon scientist staggered back from the power of Grimlock's blow. Grimlock did not let up. Blow after blow after blow Grimlock rained down upon his enemy, releasing all of his pent up fury. Shockwave had no time to block them as they came. Each blow he staggered back, his arms moving as he tired to defend himself, but the leader of the dinobots gave him no such choice. Grimlock was releasing all of his fury and anger towards Shockwave for what he had done to him and his fellow Dinobots, there was no stopping it now.

Slug and Wheeljack started to fight back to back, swords flying. Not one blast didn't get deflected. Their blades where a blur, dancing in the two warrior's hands with undeniable accuracy and skill.

Scorn had transformed into a Spinosaurus and was chomping on a Vehicon, looking very pleased with himself. His tail swung back and forth, smacking any Vehicon who dared to get close to the raging dinobot. The battle had once again turned in our favor.

A blast had narrowly missed Arcee. She changed from her blasters to arm blades and was quickly dispatching the Vehicons, jumping from one to the next. She jumped into the air, grabbed a Vehicon between her legs and flipped him over herself with a cry. Smokescreen passed her, tackling a vehicon and leaving him in a rock. Arcee nodded her thanks before moving on.

Bumblebee was now fighting Knockout, the two rivals hate for each other undeniable. Smokescreen was using the Phase shifter and going through Cons and blasting them from behind, keeping the troops off of the scout's back.

A blast came towards my guardian from behind. I didn't even think as I threw a shield up behind him. The blast safely hit my shield and got absorbed, but it did nothing to help me. The distance that I had thrown the shield made me tired, but I reminded myself to remain alert. I couldn't allow myself to become unaware, I was in the middle of a battle. I had to be conscious of everything if I wanted to remain undiscovered and alive.

A shot hit the ground in front of Smokescreen before I could react. He flew in the air, only for Scorn to catch him in his mouth. The Dinobot was gentle as he held him, and as he twisted his head to place Smokescreen on his back. I saw Smokescreen thank him. With that, Scorn ran, charging at the Decepticons and chomping on them as Smokescreen shot. They made a pretty good team.

Swoop and Predaking were still fighting, balls of fire and the swiping of claws being exchanged. Swoop swung his two tails, clipping Predaking. Predaking snarled, quickly releasing a ball of fire towards Swoop. Swoop momentarily fled, come back with more ferocity. His two heads snapped closed on Predaking's left wing, trying to tear it. Predaking swung his tail and smacked Swoop, knocking him lose. He only spiralled towards the ground for a second before he rightened himself, flying towards the predacon with his talons out. He grabbed Predaking on his left side and pulled up, whether trying to move the beast or rip off the armor plating, I do not know.

Predaking released a roar of pure fury and tried to shake Swoop off. He finally succeeded when he dove down towards the ground. Swoop let go and flew back up. Predaking unfurled his wings at the last moment and shot back up, grabbing Swoop in his talons as he did so. Swoop tried to get free, biting and claw at Predaking, but Predaking just ignored him. The two headed dinosaur screeched and tried to blow fire, but was out, much to his shock. Predaking flew down towards the ground and landed, pining Swoop in between his talons and the ground.
