. . .

She stares in absolute horror at the oozing red blood coursing down and around their tangled limbs. MinYoung's sight becomes blurry with tears. A lump that long resided in her chest had been replaced by SeokJin's still vessel.

The black mist surrounding them eventually crumbles into reality as bits of dusts disintegrate.

Her ears could only listen to the breathless pants and a rather muffled whimper. The previous King was as good as gone as well as Xavier. The battle now was different from the first time Xavier attacked the whole Sanctuary. MinYoung couldn't forget the horrible events that followed.

She felt gratitude that SeokJin didn't have to go through heaps of chaos just to save her fragile existence. She knew that it was too easy for SeokJin to surpass several years of unknown knowledge and events. It was the old man that suffered quite terribly, of whom was actually the true hero.

Despite the fact that Xavier has inflicted a rather tedious wound, it didn't do much damage to actually kill the prince. MinYoung knew she could just give him her blood, yet she's too stunned and in a convoluted mind to even begin cutting a shallow cut on her wrist.

It was the expression that both the previous King and Xavier gave MinYoung before they perished together.

Jimin slides himself beside the sleeping prince as others drop their weapons. Their silence explained their guilt and melancholia. This was the price that the King had to pay. It was an easy task for most vampires, but a heavy choice for the King and his wives.

SeokJin is barely flinching, a matter which MinYoung is concerned of whereas Jimin merely relaxes.

"MinYoung?" Jimin tenderly calls her name, inducing the lass to finally glance up from SeokJin's bloodstained shirt.

She wanted to clean it off for him. She wanted him to wake up in bliss. It was going to be very hard and whole for SeokJin to listen to the rest of the story. She fully embraces SeokJin from behind as he rests comfortably against her shaking frame.

"J-Jimin ... the King-" Her breath hitches to a pause and Jimin shakes his head.

"Whatever you want to say will have to be kept with you for now. We must attend to brother SeokJin before he loses any more blood. It was already determined that our Father sacrificed himself alongside Xavier. It had to be done and it already is done."

"B-but ... what about SeokJin? I-is it right if he knows about me? About everything?"

Jimin subtly nods his head as he studies his older brother. Now that Xavier is gone, he didn't need to overly be worried about the impact on SeokJin. Although he was slightly agitated by how SeokJin would react, he hopes that his older brother would take it positively without batting any hesitations.

"That can be told by you later on, would that be alright with you?"

She had a slight inkling to what he meant and accepted nonetheless. She felt grateful once again that she could step back in the Sanctuary after how many years have passed.

MinYoung raises her wrist and easily cuts a wound by the aid of the Xiphos. She winces at the stinging hot agony bubbling on her wrist, yet stifles the pain as she brings her arm to SeokJin's lips.

She felt his plump lips graze her bleeding wrist.

Then, in a second or two, SeokJin was sucking the droplets of blood, which a few streamed down his chin. MinYoung swallows the dry lump in her throat as his tongue was working to take whatever remains of her blood he can.
