. . .

Half white. Half black.

Those words resurfaced back into SeokJin's head. Those precise words slipped out from Jungkook's mouth. The older brother knows that Jungkook can see what others can see.

He didn't understand and neither did the others about Jungkook's remark.

It didn't bother SeokJin up until now.

What had Jungkook meant when half of SeokJin's hair was hued black and the other white? Was it a symbolic type of representation? Was it some sort of sign of the successful treaty between the two different clans?

The thought didn't sound logical to him, although anything was possible.

SeokJin's long strides eventually halt to a slow amble. To find his Father in this massive mountain called the Sanctuary should be easy, if it weren't for the throbbing regular thoughts encircling in his mind. The newly crowned King didn't expect to ponder this much, especially on small matters.

Half black. Half white.

Why were the strands of his hair half and half the moment he stepped back in the Sanctuary? Was it a sign that he was transitioning into a human? Is such a thing possible to exist?

"Brother? What's the matter?" Jimin inquires, placing his palm on SeokJin's tense back.

SeokJin was unaware of how tight the muscles on his shoulder blades felt. The ache crawled up to his nape and he simply shakes it off by flexing his arms. He blinks, focusing almost too intensely at the empty path before him.

"Nothing. I just want to .... sleep ... just ..." SeokJin drawls out, only to collapse as his legs abruptly lost its strength.

Jimin's eyes widened and so does Hoseok, of who has been trailing discreetly behind. He rushes to his King and kneels down to check for any abnormalities.

"Brother? Brother Jin! Brother!" Jimin calls out whilst nudging SeokJin's body to wake him up.

Such  tactic isn't working. Calling out to their brother failed. Shaking his body quite violently didn't stir the man's eyes to jerk open. He was as still as a puppet, unless controlled by its own strings of consciousness.

Jimin finds it extremely strange. He can detect his brother where he is right now, yet he's not responding. SeokJin just fed a few minutes ago. This sight is selcouth to Jimin, albeit he and Hoseok are panicking.

Their voices falter to a distant ringing. All senses of SeokJin has been cut off. Numbness and the dwelling abyss consumes him into nothing but a single matter. He desperately wants to open his eyes and briefly study his current condition. SeokJin wants Hoseok's Mother to examine him.

"SeokJin."

Those wishes are pushed away like the overlapping ocean currents over the land. The tone of the strangers voice sounded deep. What surprised him was the exact same accent that SeokJin himself holds.

A figure appears in his line of vision. SeokJin merely squints to rid the haziness away. It wasn't working no matter what he tried. He struggles to focus onto the single matter that's just existing in front of his eyes.

The King had submerged in the deepest depth of the ocean. The pressure of water was noticeable as his chest was pressed in the most unpleasant way. SeokJin didn't writhe around to reach back up to the surface. He was immune to the water. He couldn't easily die from not breathing.

There was barely a sight of diffused light from above.

He was moving around ever so slowly, as if he was in outer space or simply levitating out of his own accord. The darkest abyss of the ocean and space were almost alike. They held their own mysteries, which humans strive to discover beyond their imagination.
