When I grow up,
I will take my time to fall in love
I will not rush into relationships
I will not jump into bed with everyone and anyone who offers to buy me drinks
When I grow up,
I will cherish love
I will value the sanctity of relationships
I will search for "the one" while learning and mastering the art of self-love
When I grow up,
I will be filled with so much love, not even loneliness can touch me
When I grow up,
I will be happier because I will do what I love and I will be my own boss
When I grow up,
I will take care of myself and my loved ones
I will party
I will get wild
I will live in the moment
I will forget any regret
I will sing songs of yesterday while dreaming about my future
I will sing and sing at the top of my lungs
I will write until my fingers start to ache and all my pens break
I will do it all and leave no stone unturned
When I grow up,
I will love wholeheartedly
I will sing songs that make my heart happy
I will write poetry that feeds the soul
When I grow up,
I will embrace every facet of who I am
I will grow into a creature of love
I will accept love and give love.
When I grow up,
I will love myself more than anything else.
When I grow up,
I will live my truth and
I will always be me.
