Hi! Welcome to His Cinderella! I hope you enjoy the first chapter, it's basically how all the other chapters will turn out. Enyoy :)

"LaToya Goulde, tell me you're kidding!" Kelli said over the phone. I sipped my latte and smiled.

"No, I'm not." I said, grinning widely. "Aryanne Rayes asked me to make a dress for her birthday." I shrugged.

"The Aryanne Rayes?! Like, the daughter of Benjamin Rayes?" She asked and I chuckled, taking another sip of my latte. I was sitting on my white and gold couch, talking to my friend Kelli over the phone, taking advantage of the fact that my fourteen year old sister Tori was still at school.

"Yup. The Aryanne Rayes we all know." I said.

"OMG! LT, do you know how big this is for your business?!" She squealed. I chucked in response and she joined in. "When's the party? When do you need to give her the dress? When's the dress fitting? Have you started designing it? When did you or will you begin?" She fired questions at me and I sighed.

"Calm down, Kells. The party is the 31st of March. Anytime before then. We'll sort that out later. No, but I think I have some ideas for her outfit. I'll begin this weekend." I answered all her questions.

"That's so great." She said and I could almost hear her excitement. There was a pause. "Wait, hold on. My cake's ready. See ya, later LT." She said.

"Later, Kells." I said, before she hung up the call.

I got up and ascended the wooden stairs and opened the door to my bedroom to try and make a few sketches for Aryanne's dress design. She wanted something elegant, but grand. I sat at my desk and started brainstorming dress ideas. I sketched about 6 different dresses in 30 minutes before I heard someone turning a key inside the keyhole and then the door being opened, before hearing Tori, my fourteen year old sister yelling, "LT I'm home!" I responded with an eyeroll, that she obviously couldn't see. The next sound I heard was her marching up the stairs and knocking on my door. "LT! You in there?" She asked.

"Yes, Tori. What do you want?" I answered.

"Can I come in?" She asked.

I shifted my attention from her back to my design sketchpad.
"Whatever." I answered nonchallantly.

She swung my door open and walked inside. "Whatcha doing?" She asked peeking over my shoulder at my sketches.

"Work." I shrugged and put away the sketchpad.

"Okay. I have a lot of things to talk about with you." She said, before letting out a sigh and sitting on my blue bed. My entire room was blue-gold themed--- gold curtains, blue matress and bed linens, gold headrest, gold and blue chevron, polka dot and striped pillows, blue rug, blue desk and chair, blue wallpaper etc etc. Tori's was purple-silver themed.

"Oh?" She nodded. "Like what?" I asked sitting with her on my bed.

"There's a Spring Dance coming up and I want Jace Keither to ask me out, but I'm pretty sure he sees me as just a friend. What do I do?" She asked, rather nervous as she played with her fingers.

"Oh. Friend zoned, huh?" I said with a chuckle and she gave me the 'this-is-so-not-funny-sister' look. "Well, there's really not much you can do. Hang out with him often--- as his friend and if he doesn't start to look at you as the beautiful amazing girl you are, then there's a problem somewhere and know that he's most likely stupid and has bad taste." I said and we both lightly laughed at the last part. "My point is, you're great and there are lots of guys who would line up and audition to be your date to the Spring dance. Don't stress too much about this Jace Keither kid, okay?" I smiled.
