Aaron's P.O.V
Six months later...
My life had changed, having LaToya as my Personal Assistant since April and it was already October. She always travelled with me everywhere I went. I still treated my other employees the same, but when it came to her, I had a soft spot for that crazy, gorgeous woman. We had a million pictures of when Aryanne, Flora, Kelli, Jynelle, Sophie, Ethan, Peter, Orlando and I threw a surprise party for her. It was small, but it included her family--- her mother and sister, and her friends--- us. I also had a bunch of pictures from my birthday. We had a pool party at my mansion. I remembered how LaToya had refused to swim and I had to teach her how. It was hilarious! I also could never forget her face when her mother told her that she bought her a house, the house I gave to her mother, but didn't want LaToya to know.
My phone rang and it jerked me back to the present. It was Tasha Klyde. I answered the call, after a few seconds of deliberating.
"Hello?" I said into the phone.
"Nice to hear from you, Aaron." She said.
"Yeah. What do you want?" I asked, speeding up the convo. I really didn't have any time for unnecessary small talk.
"I just wanted to tell you that I'll be working with you on RAYCO and SK Construction's latest project--- Aquafina, in Los Angeles. You'll be coming to LA on Monday, right?" She told me.
"Yes. With my P.A." I told her.
"Great! Can't wait to see you again!" She said, then hung up.
I didn't really want to see Tasha. She was so slutty and annoying, always making passes at me. We hooked up twice and that was it, no attachments, but she just couldn't understand that. I would have loved to be friends with her, but only if she'd stop being so childish.
I called LaToya from the office opposite mine. She had her own office. It was painted in her favourite colour, blue. The furniture in the office was white. It was small, but very warm and well-decorated, and she did it all on her own.
She walked into my office.
"Get packing. We're leaving for L.A on Monday, so we can work on The Aquafina project." I told her. Aquafina was the name of the new five-star hotel Rayco and SK Construction were working on.
"Oh. That's great!" She seemed very cheerful about it. She loved to travel, that's why I loved taking her on trips with me.
"Ok, then. Be ready by eight, because I told my pilot that we're flying at 9:30am." I told her.
"Of course, sir." She smiled the walked back to her office.
☆☆☆
My private jet had just landed in Los Angles. A car and a driver picked us up and drove us to where we were staying. We were staying at a large presidential suite in a five star luxurious hotel called The Rivierra Resorts.
Our suite had three rooms, one for each of us, since Tasha was also staying in our suite.
"Aaron!" She squealed when she saw me. She ran up to me and hugged me.
"Tasha. How good to see you." I said, politely, while stylishly backing up to keep her at arms length.
"Great to see you too." She kissed the side of my face, in a friendly way. She turned to see LaToya standing awkwardly in the corner. "And who's this?" She pointed at LaToya.
"My Personal Assistant." I said, her face fell. "What is it?" I asked her.
"Nothing. I just expected your P.A to be... a guy." She looked at LaToya from head to toe with disapproval. What a snob, right?
"I'll leave to go freshen up." LaToya said. "Nice to meet you, Tasha." She walked away, looking unhappy. Just a few minutes ago, she was restless in the car, laughing and pointing at landmarks and now she looks like she wishes she could teleport back home. It must be Tasha's fault--- looking down on her as if she's any better than LaToya.

"Add that to the decor list, Tee." I told LaToya. I started calling her Tee last month when she was using shampoo that smelled like tea. I was at Aquafina with Tasha, LaToya and some workers. The building was finished in early September, so we were there to help decorate it. Aryanne and Orlando would be over that day, so she, LaToya and Tasha can take care of all this decorating stuff, because I didn't really understand all of that. Orlando and I would get the first few employees and a manager to run the hotel.
"I don't think it'll look very nice, LaToya." Tasha said with a certain venom in her voice.
"Obviously, you wouldn't. From the moment I saw you, I knew you didn't have very good taste. I just can't wait for Aryanne to get here." LaToya relpied emotionlessly, saying it like it wasn't the least bit mean. She didn't even look up from her iPad. I loved that she wasn't giving Tasha the attention she wanted.
"I think your idea is amazing, Tee." I told her and she smiled.
"Thank you, Ron! At least you have better taste." She looked at me for like five seconds, before continuing to type her notes on her iPad. She was so hardworking. I laughed at what she said and also Tasha's facial expression. She looked like she was about to explode.
"Ron..." She started.
"Don't call me that." I pointed at her.
"Ok. Aaron. I think I'll go eat lunch, wanna come?" She offered.
"Sure. Tee, you coming?" I looked at her. She shook her head, without looking up.
"Then, I'll stay. It's not fair leaving you to do all the work." I told her. Out of the corner of my eye, I saw Tasha roll her eyes and fold her arms.
"No, don't worry about me. Go have lunch." She finally looked up, but she was still emotionless.
Raise your hands if you hate Tasha as much as LaToya does🙋🙋🙋
Anyways, hope you enjoyed that chapter!!!
