Aaron's P.O.V

"I can't wait to go to Africa!" LaToya said, struggling to get Shareece into her new bathtub.

My head spun at the thought of two weeks in Africa with LaToya. I smiled, as the idea was delighting all my sentences. "Neither can I." I petted Shareece, calming her down.

There was a comfortable silence as she put her fingers in the water to check the temperature of the water. "Aaron." She called my name. I really liked it when she said my name so innocently and sweetly. It sounded like music to my ears, so melodious. "Can I ask you a question?" She said, still focusing her eyes on the puppy she was giving a shower.

"Sure. Go ahead." I nodded.

"Why'd you pick me to go with you?" She asked. "To Africa. Why didn't you pick somebody else? Like Rissa, Aryanne, Orlando..." She was listing the closest people to me.

"Because Rissa and I aren't that close, plus she's a flirt. Aryanne and Orlando are so in love that they can't leave each other's side and besides, they're still in Cairo, Egypt. You are my personal assistant, so you're meant to assist me in almost every aspect of life." I reasoned and she nodded in response.

Seconds later, Shareece tried to leave the bathtub as LaToya used a little foam sponge to wash her fur. Of course, I had to help hold her down.

Out of nowhere, LaToya aimed the shower at me and smiled deviously. "You wouldn't." I dared her.

"Oh, really?" She smirked, raising one of her perfect eyebrows. Before I could say anything more, she turned the cold water knob and freezing cold water went right out of the shower and onto my face. She got my shirt wet before turning off the shower. "That's for calling me chicken and making me skinny dip." She crossed her arms.

"It's not my fault that the app said that!" I defended myself.

"Did the app say to call me chicken?" She asked. I opened my mouth to speak, but we were both startled as Shareece jumped out of the bathtub and ran off, making LaToya and me chase after her.

"Get back here, Shareece!" She yelled, following behind the adorable dog. "You're leaving a trail of soapy water. Someone could slip and fa--- WOAH!" She slipped on the soapy water and fell right into my arms.

"Yeah. Someone could." I said as she stood back up.

"Thanks. I could've gotten a concussion on these marble tiles if not for you, Ron." She smoothed out her black Zaful cropped top.

"It was no biggie!" I waved her off and Shareece ran past us again. "We should go catch that puppy!" I pointed towards the adorable small furry creature running around.

"And make sure she doesn't get near the stairs. She's still covered in soap and she'll slip right down the stairs if we don't catch her." LaToya said, and we both started chasing the dog. It took us a mere minute to find Shareece and carry her back to the tub.

***Later that week...***

"They're already going on a honeymoon!" Peter roared with laughter.

"And he said he doesn't love her!" Orlando joined in.

"Oh, please. It's not a honeymoon. It's a vacation." I corrected.

"Look, man. You love LaToya and you know it." Orlando sobered up.

"Yeah. It's about time for you to accept it." Peter agreed.

"Okay, maybe I do have feelings for her, but in my defence, who would spend so much time with her and not fall for her? Her brown hair with faint blond highlights, along with her hazel eyes make her look like a goddess. That adorable look she always has on every time she get's frustrated, annoyed or embarrassed... it drives me crazy." My eyes glistened and my heart pounded. Just the thought of LaToya made my palms sweaty. But I didn't love her... love doesn't exist. I only liked her.

"And don't forget that gorgeous body of hers." Peter chimed in, licking his lips like a kid who just saw a big chocolate cake. Bloody...

"Would you shut the f**k up?! Don't bloody make those dumbass comments anywhere near me. F**k, don't even make them at all!" I warned him, furiously. I wanted to strangle him. No, not to kill him, but just make him feel pain for some time.

"I didn't mean it like that. I just wanted to test your patience." He raised up his hands in surrender.

"Well, don't try it again." I warned.

"Noted." He pressed a chopstick at the side of his lips and looked heavenwards.

"Wow, loverboy. You get mad real easy." Orlando teased, dipping his noodles in a special Chinese Shrimp sauce and putting it in his mouth.

"Oh, I'm the loverboy? You just got back from an early honeymoon in Cairo with my sister, dickhead. So before you open that shithole mouth of yours to talk shit, you consider that you're much more of a dickhead than anyone else in this damn room!" I roasted him.

"Damn!" Peter exclaimed, holding a clenched fist in front of his mouth. Lando twirled his noodles round his chopsticks and gave me the death stare. I laughed so hard at him and he just kept the death stare, making me feel more amused.
