"And yes, there are over a million words in our language, but for some reason, none of them can describe how you make me feel."

LaToya's P.O.V

WTF??!?!!?!?!?!

I nudged Aaron and gave him a look as if to say 'Are you outta your mind?!'. He only winked at me and turned to face his Grandpa Jacé, nodding his head once more.

"Excuse us for a second." I smiled to Grandpa Rayes and pulled Aaron to a corner.

First of all, I gave him a hot slap right across his handsome face.
"Are you insane?" I whisper-yelled.

"The old man seems too happy for me to let him down." He sighed, rubbing the spot where I slapped him, making me feel kinda guilty.

"But," I glanced over to the smiling old man. "He does seem happy... Fine, I'll pretend." I sighed in defeat.

We walked back to Grandpa Rayes, pretend smiling. The old man was so overjoyed to see his grandson with a girl--- who isn't a prostitute.

We made our way back to the table and took our seats again. Grandpa Jacé glanced at us excitedly. "Should I tell them?"

"Yeah, go ahead." I shrugged, looking at Aaron, who was cutting a piece of chicken and he nodded in response.

"These two lovebirds have been keeping thier love away from us!" Grandpa Jacè announced.

"Lovebirds?" Orlando smirked.

"Yeah. I caught them red handed." Grandpa Jacé laughed.

"So you both are a couple?" Denisse asked.

"Yup. I love her so much." Aaron held my hand in his and my heart skipped a beat.

For a moment there, I forgot it was just pretence! I thought I'd just heard Aaron confessing love to someone--- me.

I just closed my eyes as if to flush out the feelings in me that wished that this wasn't pretence.

He doesn't love you.

He doesn't love anyone.

Don't be a dumbass, LT.

"What's wrong babe?" He asked, making me realize that I was forcing my eyes shut.

"Nothing." I cleared my throat and manoeuvred my hand out of his hold.

"You sure?" He asked.

"Can we talk?" I whispered into his ear. He nodded and got up, and we both walked to a place where they couldn't see or hear us.

"What's up?" He leaned on the wall.

"I'm not comfortable with this." I let out a sigh.

"Why?" He asked, searching my face for any obvious emotions.

"I don't like lying to people." I made up an excuse.

"Please, Tee. Please do this. For me." He begged.

For you? Then, no.

No, for being a cold, heartless idiot whose aim is to make everyone fall for your charms and then break their hearts later.

That won't work on me, Mr Handsome.

No, for having no love for anyone--- including me.
