LaToya's P.O.V

I didn't really need to use the bathroom, but I had a feeling he was going to talk about that dang kiss! I had to get out of there as soon as possible, I didn't want to make a huge fool out of myslelf.

I stared at the bathroom mirror for about 3 minutes, before making up my mind--- maybe it wasn't about the kiss...

I smoothed out my red jumpsuit and walked out of the ladies' room, and back into Aaron's office. His facial expression was quite different, possibly pissed...

I sat back down on the seat.
"What did you want to ask me?" I looked at his face.

"I wanted to ask you whether my mother, Matilda, stopped by the past few days." He asked. Oh. So it wasn't the kiss...

How can I explain this feeling of utter disappointment?

"Um... I don't think I saw Mrs Rayes here recently." I flashed a fake smile.

"Ok. You can go now." He looked outside the nearest window.

"I can?" I looked at him in disbelief. We usually talked for hours in his office before I left.

"Didn't you hear me the first time? You can leave." He said.

"Oh." I was still disappointed.

"Yeah. Need me to show you the door?" He looked even more pissed off.

"No," I got up. "I was just about to leave." I headed for the office door and opened it. I heard him heave a sigh and I paused.

"LaToya." He said. "Don't forget my meeting with the Juarnandos at 3pm." He said.

"Yes, sir." I said, before leaving.

I wondered what happened while I was gone that made him so tensed up.

"Good day, Mr Juarnando." Aaron shook Mr Juarnando's hand. Mr Rico Juarnando was a middle-aged man with silver hair, he was a huge businessman and a foreign client from Spain. His company was willing to buy our newly developed technology, RayDrones. RayDrones're developed from next-level technology. Using retina scan and facial recognition technology, also voice activated, they require a thumbprint and retina scan to set up. They also come with earbuds, earbuds are next generation buds that have microphones to give commands to the drones and in-built speakers to play the response from the drones. Asides buying $100,000,000 worth of RayDrones, they were willing to invest in the business too.

Aaron extended his hand to Mr Juarnando's gorgeous daughter, Rissa. She placed her arm gracefully in his.
"Good day, Rissa." He kissed her hand, making her giggle.

"You're quite the gentleman, aren't you?" She smiled, showing her perfect teeth.

"And you're quite the beautiful lady." He smirked at her.

They were clearly flirting in a business meeting!

"Enough chit-chat. Let's start the meeting." Rissa catwalked to a seat, between Aaron and her father. I was seated accross from them.
