PERSONA Chapter 11

- CLANDESTINE INCORPORATED - TUESDAY - 12:30 P.M. -

Back then, when Eve entered Clandestine Inc., she haven't had the chance to look around and explore the place. She was aware of certain buildings and all but she was not that familiar with any of them. The only place she always went to back then was Cashmiere's office - when she was still the assistant officer of Uncle Pisces - she was preparing for her take over as the future headmistress of the school. Now that she's back here again, she was as sure as ever that this school is really big. Only god know how long it will be if Neyo decided to tour her around this massive place, she would surely lose her mind. And oh god, she just hates to use her brain and she definitely do not want to walk!

There were only five buildings she need to remember based on what Neyo told her at the rooftop of the highest building in Clandestine Inc - the tower - the headmistress' building. Of course, they were not allowed to come in here but when the guards saw Eve smiling at them, they hastily let her in and even sent her and Neyo personally to the rooftop. Neyo, who already knew the close relationship between Eve and the headmistress, did not react and just accepted things with close eyes thinking 'Forget it. I should just get use to it. Even the headmistress herself has very close friends. It's a normal thing. Sigh..'

The Main building is where classes are held which is located in close proximity to the lake and the medicine garden. The building could cater for over two thousand students, teachers and staff.

The East Building is the training building where students can practice on enhancing and perfecting their personas. It has at least 300 training rooms, a multi-purpose center featuring a pool on the lowest floor and the gym.

Next is the West Building - the arena where the duels, team fights and examinations are being held. Since the students have rankings, it also means that there are competitions. And by winning the said competitions, they may receive special awards together with a higher rank based on their performance.

The school has a grading system based on how well they use their personas and one way of attaining this is the team fights where you are grouped with random people to fight with another team. This is where the judges and the headmistress bear witness and give their criticisms and advice - which I not doubt that it rarely happens.

Lastly is the examinations, it can be by duels or team fights or both depending on the professor / instructor. And lastly, the South Building, for ages 10 to 16's dormitories while the North Building are for ages 17 and up students 'dormitories.

And of course if there are Major Buildings, there are also minor buildings.

First is the Healing center - where the student with personas connected to healing are training to maximize their prowess further, next is the Shopping District - which are a number of shops are connected to each other to form a district of their own, then the libraries, the new and the old, there are also the Offices of the professors and staff and last but not the least is the Cafeteria, two in the dormitories and two in the opposite directions of the campus.

The school is very large and because they give importance to nature, prohibit vehicles that cause pollution. Instead they use human-powered vehicles like bicycles and they also have the barn, where you could ask for a horse to take care of.

After a few more talks and walks, they both went to the Registrar's office.

"Hello, ma'am. I am here to claim Ms. Eve Floure's keys and badge" Neyo said to the somehat middle aged woman who is supposedly known as the registrar of the school

"Here. She'll be staying in the room beside Anna's. Her things were already delivered there this morning," said the woman as she looked at Eve

She was stunned to see such a fairy-like character that came from the villages. It seems that this new student is not a simple character at all.

"Thank you," Eve politely said causing the registrar to stare at her while hesitatingly saying, "You're.. welcome"

Eve glanced at Neyo and when she saw that the latter was busy answering a phone call, she took a few steps towards the older woman and said, "Is there something wrong, ma'am?"

"Ah, no, I apologize for staring at you. I just thought that you kind of look familiar," she replied causing Eve to smile

The way the registrar looked at Eve earlier was a gaze that was questioning 'I might know her, but I probably just can't remember'

"When did you start working here, ma'am?" she asked

"Five years ago. But back then, I was still an assistant registrar in charge of all the students' information," hearing that, Eve immediately nodded

"There you have it"

"?" - registrar

When Neyo finished the call and received the box containing Eve's keys and badge from the registrar, he did not notice the strange atmosphere and thanked her, "Thank you, ma'am. We will be heading off now,"

"Y-yes, then off you go,"

Neyo finally noticed the registrar's weird gaze on Eve and finally started to leave with Eve following behind him

"What was that all about?" Neyo said as he handed the box to Eve

Eve casually received it and said calmly, "She probably saw me when I was younger. Cash brought me here before"

"I see" Neyo did not thought that something was weird and suddenly remembered something, "Actualy Eve, I have something important to do after this. Shall I send you to the dormitories first?" he asked causing Eve to laugh

"No thanks. You have already explained well enough for me to understand. You should just head on, I can handle myself"

"Okay. But but careful okay? With your words and actions, you might actually get caught up into some unnecessary trouble here,"

"Thanks for the compliment," Eve replied as she smiled smugly

"......." - Neyo 'It wasn't a compliment though'

Watching Eve's figure getting further and further away, her back view made it seem that she was very tall and proud; arrogant even. She was only 5'5 feet tall but her aura was enough to say that she could do things on her own. Her black silky and curly long hair was swaying as she walked lazily all the while holding her suitcase and the box given by the registrar. Seeing this stubborn fairy-like person, Neyo sighed and thought 'I actually wanted to send her to her dormitory'

When he realized what he just thought, he paused and immediately smiled thinking, 'See you next time, Eve Floure'
