PERSONA Chapter 14
- CLANDESTINE INCORPORATED - TUESDAY - 2:00 P.M. -
"Hitting a girl is the worst thing you could ever do as a man"
Harsh gasps were heard.
Eve stared at the young man who was full of charisma just a few meters away from her, just enough for his rose scent to reach her small yet pointy nose making her feel an incredible feeling of ease and security. He was taller than her, although the voice was kind of young, it has a dose of maturity in it that actually sounded quite soothing to her ears.
"T-tim!" the boy started sweating coldly
"I saw everything. Stop embarrassing yourselves further," this Tim added and threw the hand he was holding harshly causing the group of students to flinch
"Y-yes, we're sorry. We're leaving now!"
It didn't take long for them to scatter around and ran away from the boy they called Tim.
The boy turned around and a particular pair of dark obsidian eyes caught his azure ones and he was immediately astounded. The moment it happened, some unknown magnetic force pulled him in and he was not given the chance to pull away from it.
The moment he turned around, Eve herself froze and just stared back at him and thought unconsciously 'blue eyes...'
She could not help but look him up and down.
After a few seconds of staring, she unabashedly stared at his whole face. From his dark sharp eyes up to his long eyes lashes and well-defined eyebrows down to his cheekbones, long and pointy nose, slightly open light pink lips and sharp jawline. He was even half a head taller than her.
He was wearing a white sweater long sleeved shirt combined with a few comfy maroon lower leg pants.
It was not simple to look great in such a fashion of clothing.
The collar wrapped around his faultlessly slim neck, and the buttons made his smooth jawline stand out. His deep-set eyes and chiseled highlights made him appear so cool and handsome.
He was truly good looking. His facial features were truly striking.
It was not that she thinks he has a beautiful face that is like that of a woman;s, the word 'beautiful' really just popped up in her mind. Some individuals were so good-looking that they showed up like a idealize work of craftsmanship.
Oh fuck her. She actually thought that no one could possibly top up Luke, Law and Page's level of handsomeness, but Neyo and this Tim were clearly on a higher level than them!
Seeing Tim blink himself out of the enchantment, Eve's heart skipped a beat again.
Eve blinked roughly as she scolded herself internally, she forced to stop herself from blushing from the embarrassment of realizing that she was actually checking him out – which is something she would usually not do.
'A devil's incarnate' was what came to her mind after waking up from her daydream.
They say that one's looks can cause either eternal darkness or the downfall of a nation! And she really believes it now.
Beauty really is dangerous!
Thinking about that non debatable fact, Eve pursed her lips and glared at Tim causing the latter to get confused from all the changes of the expressions on her pretty face.
Timothy: "What?"
Eve narrowed her eyes and looked at him vigilantly, as if looking at someone suspicious and asked "Why did you interrupt me?"
Timothy thought that he heard wrongly and said, "Excuse me?"
Eve: "You are excused but you haven't answered my question yet"
Timothy: "..............."
Eve walked closer to him and raised her chin as she looked at him straight; her dark obsidian eyes meeting his deep azure ocean-colored ones.
Timothy was dumbfounded and wanted to stay away from her but his body did not even bother to move when a sweet vanilla scent reached his nose and he was enamored by it immediately.
Vanilla was his weakness!
And not to mention, she was so close! He could literally see all the fine lines on her pretty face!
Her aura was strong, but she was obviously well mannered and poised. Her delicate brows shaped her small face perfectly and it had a hint of evilness in them. Her nose was dainty yet tall and the corners of her mouth were arched upwards, showing how casual she was.
She obviously had the air and attitude of that of someone who was careless and casual, her expressive eyes showed how sharp it was and it brought out a sense of wildness in them that made his heart stop.
He thought she was cute and innocent looking but she was actually a psycho.
This was not the type of girl that he was accustomed to!
"What? Do you perhaps think that I can't handle them that's why you bothered to stick your nose into my business?"
Timothy's reaction was priceless!
"Wait wait wait--" his brows furrowed and added, "So instead of thanking me for helping you or saying sorry because you caused a commotion, you are complaining that I interrupted you?"
She raised an eye brow and asked seemingly amused, "Otherwise?"
Timothy was exasperated and shouted, "Hah!"
"Why should I thank you and apologize when you were the one who just came out of the blue? Justice fetish or something?" Timothy's face turned stiff and glared at her so she added, "Ah, and what just happened? You actually scared them away! They were literally running as if their lives depended on it"
Timothy: "Afraid? No they were not. What was so scary about what I did? I just told the truth. And look at you, you're not scared right?"
Eve blinked and asked, "No, I'm not. But still, that guy just now was bigger than you and yet he was frightened"
Timothy already opened his mouth to debut her when she suddenly clapped her hands as she said, "Ah! Your face must have scared them!"
Timothy: "!" She even said it with a serious expression! This woman-- she-- she--!
Eve almost laughed her heart out from the look in his face but chose to just bite her lip and cough faintly.
Timothy: "Y-you.. Did you just insult my handsome face?"
Eve: "........." It was her time to get speechless and only one thing came to mind: 'He was so cute and silly'
However, Timothy saw her dumbfounded face and thought that she really did think that it was his face that scared those rude students away!
Timothy: "Are you serious?!"
Eve felt so amused yet tired because of this conversation with this naive kid, so she took a deep breathe and patted his shoulder as she said "There will be a misunderstanding between the two related parties whenever a third party intervenes suddenly. So anyways, next time, Tim or whatever your name is, you should mind your own business as to not get caught up in the right, okay?" and smiled
Timothy: "........"
