PERSONA Chapter 13
- CLANDESTINE INCORPORATED - TUESDAY - 2:00 P.M. -
Not far from where Eve was, a few groups huddled up and looked over.
"Huh? Who is that? She seems unfamiliar. She keeps looking around"
"Just look at her belongings. A suitcase and the box given by the registrar"
When everyone heard that, they seemed to have realized something and gasped simultaneously.
"What a coincidence, we just happened to see her arriving in Clandestine!"
They were in their second year and it was the first time they have received news that the school would be having a new student. It was not that great of a news, no, to be more precise, the news was quite of unusual but it was not much to gain everyone's interest. But finding out that it was a student invited by the Headmistress herself, everyone was stunned silly.
This new student was new alright, but she had become famous even before she came to the school.
Everyone was flowing with anticipation and curiosity. They can not wait to meet the new student!
Boys at the back row of the group heard their conversations and peered at the direction they were looking at. Seeing the back of a figure of a girl not far from where they were, they were instantly piqued with interest.
"Eh~ the one who received the Headmistress' invitation right?"
"But she could also be a senior you know. Or a part of the forbidden classes"
"You have a point but doesn't that make things more interesting?
"Yeah. Wanna check her out? See if she's strong or something"
A few boys looked at one another and smiled full of mischief. One boy dribbled the ball in his hands and smirked.
Sana had long known that a group of student were looking at her but she did not expect that she would feel a malicious intent targeted towards her. It caused her to frown.
When she felt a weapon heading her way, she turned around, flipped her right hand and caught the weapon.
When she saw the ball in her hand and felt the impact of the impact of the ball, she pursed her lips and looked towards the direction of the group of students.
The boy who threw the ball on purpose, his friends and the group of girls who were gossiping in their front surely did anticipated the arrival of the new student. Which also means that they already imagined what she would look like in their minds.
Looking at the girl in front of them, they could not help but gasp. Not even Chleo, the most outstanding student was able to reach this girl's beauty!
The boy who threw the ball did not even realize the most important thing: his ball attach; to which he had used his full force - did not work. But he was too awestruck to even realize it!
Their awed expression and open mouths clearly shows their astonishment.
This was not what they had heard before!
According to the rumors, she should not be this ethereal at all! Since they have already seen people from the northern villages, they already knew what she would look like even before coming here. Rough, dull, small and her skin must be dark.
The new student had long black, silky hair that flowed threw her mid back and fell over her shoulders, her features were young but had the sharpness and coldness of an adult, her skin was peerless white and her body was with of perfect proportions. The girl was extremely beautiful. Especially her eyes, clear yet dark at the same time, she looked like a very sensible, well-behave and sensible child.
Like Anna, they also have a lot of affection for people or things with high value, specially since these children born from noble families.
After the group was quiet for a minute or two, they all inhaled roughly as if they were out of air for a very long time.
Even her temper, aura and temperament were that of a child born and raised by a noble family!
UNEXPECTED!
Eve raised an eyebrow from their reactions and calmly dribbled the ball thrice causing them to wake up.
"Did it come from you guys?" she tilted her head as she asked sweetly, causing the boy who threw the ball to blush and coughed, obviously embarrassed
"Yes, so could you pick up the ball for me?"
Eve: "Sure"
She forced herself to smile, picked up the ball and threw it back to him.
BANG! "--fck!" and then followed a sound of someone falling and a ball bouncing further away
A boy was sitting on the ground, holding his chest that was obviously in pain.
It was all sudden, and everyone's expressions changed.
"What's wrong with you!? What do you mean by that?" one of the juvenile's friend asked, his face was dark and his voice was cold
"'Yes, so could you pick up the ball for me?' he asked. No apology given, then no forgiveness needed" Eve smiled and added, "You touched me first, so you better expect me to touch you back. That's called fairness, right?"
The moment they heard her logic, everyone thought that she was right because it was really on purpose but thinking about their friend's situation; even though it was kind of embarrassing, they immediately shoved one another and dared to approach her.
"So what? You're fine, right? You were able to stop to ball!"
"So if I was not fine, was not able to stop the ball and accepted the unbelievable impact of the ball, that's when you will let me hit him back?" Eve chuckled when she saw their expressions turn green, she was amused "I don't think so, right?"
"Crazy wench," Saying so, he directly rushed forward and waved his fist at her.
Seeing him approach, she turned to avoid his fist immediately.
Failing to hit her, he got furious, gritted his teeth and waved his fist at him again.
Eve smiled faintly as she planned her next attack but before the boy's fist reached her, someone was faster and grabbed his fist first.
Eve's dainty nose smelled something rosy and her heart skipped a beat.
"Hitting a girl is the worst thing you could ever do as a man"
